...which leaves the San Antonio Spurs 'hanging short', wishing they had needed 'cap space'. Unfortunately for them, adequate cap room won't be available until 2010. That's when Ginobli's contract expires.

They will have a "mid-level exception", and hope that 'Sheed will accept that until they can offer him a hefty raise the following year. But 'Sheed won't buy those arrangements. He wants his GAURANTEED cash up front in a long term agreement (3-5 years). So that will leave the Spurs out in the cold.

A caveat of which they should be aware......."Sheed wears on ther coach, the fans, and some players, after one --usually productive--year.

"Sheed has also expressed interest in the Cavs..if the "price is right"!

At age 36 (in September), he can still 'ball', but has a horrible 'bedside manner'..especially for coaches/teammates he does not respect...and Cavs' coach Brown is not a Tarheel alum...if you know I mean.

He will get a rude awakening when free agency starts :smh::roflmao:

He might want to get his mind right or end up with a Sprewell-like exit from the game

As long as he gets away from the Pistons I could care less where he goes.

He is like a oversized kid.

The Cavs should go after him They should get David Lee of the Knicks. If that happens..:itsawrap:

That being said, dude will find a job, but he can forget about a big money contract.

No one is gonna give this guy a big contract...he is not what he once was,and with his 'tude',nah....
