Phobias?????????????

Each person usually has some sort of phobia whether it be insects to clowns. Do you have a phobia that you had to work to conquer or work around? Do you remember the incident which may have led to your phobia developing?

Me personally i hate flying but that may have been rooted in watching too much of those plane movies based on real life events as a child growing up.

Also drowning, water covering my face will freak me out so i actually have to work myself up before i go into the sea or a pool but this was caused when some family of mine decided it was fun to dunk me.

I'm afraid of anything that crawls, creeps, slithers, etc.

I am also afraid of heights and of flying but I will fly if I'm sedated.

Heights, drowning, burning alive, suffocating. It's not the actual death I'm scared of... I'm scared of animals, too

Oh yeah my ex has an aversion to semen. She had kids but you better put that sperm in her pussy and leave it there. The sight of it would make her nauseous and she freaked out if it went on her skin.

She also had a bad experience with french kissing so she does not do it anymore.:smh:

Arachnophobic.(spiders) uhhhhgggg

Pretty sure someone mucked it up for me as a child...:smh: Thats pretty much it.

Onyx why would anyone laugh?

Because I told you and you said I needed counseling!

LadyScorpio: It is really embarrassing:smh:

Babygirl you can feel free to PM me about it. I would never laugh at something that affected someone especially my only woman :D

I could never overstand why people feel a need when they find out a persons fear they make a special effort to put it out there. I had a guy at work literally throw one them things at me. Needless to say I almost had a flipping heart attack and well I suspended his ass for a week.

Now OF you know that you have aroused our i mean my interest in this phobia of yours.

Besides if we laugh remember it is good medicine.

Some people say that if you have a phobia maybe somthing of that nature happened to you in your past life.

Because I told you and you said I needed counseling!

LadyScorpio: It is really embarrassing:smh:

Baby I think you "missunderheard" (is that a word?) what I said. I never you told that. I told you you needed an ointment not counseling! :roflmao: BTW any recent pics of the charred territory? You have my address! :D Just for medicinal purposes of course.

Anyways her fear is a legitimate one and as real to her as mine is to me. I do NOT desire to confront mine. :smh:

R-A-T-S..I can't stand em...and animal attaks, in general. I don't live in the wilderness, but I'm damn near hyper-vigilant..I assume all animals will get ya.. I don't like flying...much..don't like heights, but also, I feel like I'll be swept off a balcony anytime I'm on one.

I have a lot of phobias. . . more than most people. It's sad :(

Clown, small places, spiders, heights, birds. . . I could go on and on.

Most of the people in the world have a fear of one kind or another. While most people suffer from pathophobia (fear of disease), monophobia (fear of being alone), glossophobia (fear of public speaking), algophobia (fear of pain), taphephobia (fear of
being buried alive), and many more, there are also some less popular phobias. At the end of this essay, I have compiled a list of the phobias that I find amusing.

There are many people in the world that suffer from polyphobia, which simply means to have more than one fear. Not so common, people may suffer from antinomial phobias. For example, there are some people that live with vestiophobia (fear of clothes)
and gymnophobia (fear of nudity). Another example is people with achluophobia (fear of darkness) and photophobia (fear of light).

Watch out guys, within the next seven years, you will probably get married and you will suffer from pentheraphobia, which is one of the scariest phobias in existence, the fear of your mother-in-law!

Not all phobias have been in existence for thousands of years. I’m sure that brontophobia (fear of thunder and lightning), febriphobia (fear of fever), and ophidiophobia (fear of snakes) have existed since the Black Ages. Some of the phobias
that have formed in the last two centuries would be electrophobia (fear of electricity), motorphobia (fear of automobiles), and aviophobia (fear of flying). In 1945, a brand new
phobia was quickly created and escalated drastically in the 1950’s. It is called nucleomituphobia, which is the fear or nuclear weapons. But that’s not the newest phobia
in existence as of today. This threat is called cyberphobia (fear of computers). In mild cases, people may be afraid to use a computer or an ATM. In today’s society, technology
is deeply integrated. Computers are used in calculators, cars, microwaves, power tools, and many more. So to the cyberphobic, I say, “Get over it, or go to the extreme and move away from the city, abandon your car, hand build your home, hand pump your
water, build your fires, and hunt for your own food!”

If you have a phobia, there is still hope for you. Phobias can be cured. Remember when you were a child and suffered from clinophobia (fear of going to bed) because of
bogyphobia (fear of the bogeyman), achluophobia (fear of darkness), and lachanophobia (fear of vegetables). Now chances are good that you go to bed without checking your closet or looking under your bed, that you don’t go ballistic if the lights go out, and that you eat a salad every so often.

Phobias can deeply impact a person’s life. A person with chronophobia (fear of time) probably won’t make it to their 10:00AM dentist appointment on time. A person with chaetophobia (fear of hair) is most likely bald, has no eyelashes, no eyebrows, etc. A person with cibophobia (fear of food) usually hasn’t eaten in weeks and could easily be
anorexic. This proves how serious and destructive phobias can be. If you do suffer from any strange phobias, I would suggest calling one-eight-hundred-phobias, for
arithmophobics (people who fear numbers) or for logophobics (people who fear words), 1-800-635-1317. This phone number is for entertainment purposes only.

Now on a more serious note, in all the years I’ve lived and all the knowledge I’ve
acquired, I can only find one, yes one, valid fear. This fear is called zeusophobia, which is
the fear of God. In Heaven, the false phobias are destroyed, but in Hell they can be
amplified.
I still find it hilarious, though, that these phobias exist, especially since someone must have experienced these fears so they could be valid phobias. So if you experience
arachibutyrophobia, you’re probably one in a million, but you’re still out there.

i am highly clostrophobic(phobia about being around alot of people esp. in close quarters) and slighty agoraphobic(don't want to leave the house) and I have an immense fear of dying alone in the house and not being found for weeks or months but i don't know the name for that phobia. also i am terrified of something happening to my dogs but i think thats just natural motherly instinct.

I am not fond of crowds either and have had some bad experiences at Kadooment and Foreday morning jam and even in some of the clubs.

I hate trying to have to push and prod to get out of large crowds and have a fear of stampedes if something should happen and people panic.

When i heard a guy got shot after stepping on a man's foot in a crowded club it pretty much reinforced my belief that the cunts come out at night.

LadyScorpio that story will live forever on the internet. It remains one of my favorites, maybe because its true. There's no denying OnyxFemme's zest for fun. I love it! Her judgement however is another issue. :D Everyone knows if you want make smores you use Hersheys, not Betty Crocker. See below OnyxFemme, nowhere in the pic is there well you know.......body parts. I don't know where you got that recipe :dunno:

smores-490rld07z.jpg

I'm not sure her phobia is a legitimate one although you can't make these things up. Come on now, a fear of Betty Crocker? Who ever heard of such a thing. I've checked and no where is there any record of Betty Crocker or any her associates causing injury and or pains of that nature. :D

On the downside to all this, product misuse increases consumer cost. Lawyers cost much money! Disclaimers must now be included on packaging to absolve companies from the consequences of consumer misuse. This all leads to increased cost to us the consumer. (Gee thanks OnyxFemme  )

In hindsight  maybe I did suggest counseling. It would've been a logical suggestion although nothing would've eased her pain of having such a large area charred like a good ointment. Butt I'm sure by now all her troubles are now behind her. :D

On a more serious matter, your phobia with spiders, I can understand. However I don't fear them but I do respect them. Because I respect them I go straight Rambo on them. Down here in the south they grow big and there's plenty of them. I'm constantly knocking down webs. For me just knowing some of them might be poisonous is enough. They all get treated the same way, I kill everyone I see.
