Werd. Last time I was at the dentist they were trying to push some electric toothbrush on me. I ignored them cuz I felt it was some kind of kick back scheme.
However this thread has me looking into this and I'm ready to get the brush and the floss and whatever else.

Get some coconut charcoal for teeth and possibly use a coupla of football mouthpieces and 40% Amazon whitening gel and errebody will be in your white, good smelling grill.

Btw, I just copped the 9750 model off Amazon cause i had so many points, thanks to you. My routine for years has been the waterpik flosser, Sonicare toothbrush, Crest 3-D radiant whitening toothpaste and Listerine vibrant whitening mouth rinse. My shit white like veneers. Women always ask how I get my teeth so bright. You'll thank me later.
Would stay away from the charcoal. Its abrasive and wears away at the enamel and that doesn't grow back. I'm with you on the mouthpiece with the carbamide peroxide, but I wouldn't go higher than 35% for risk of gum irritation

It’s a solid toothbrush. I’ve been in the dental field for 13 years and it can’t be topped. I don’t have one personally because I have almost pristine teeth and just got my first cavity last year but my son is in ortho and it is hard enough as is to keep his teeth clean so he has one of these and when he does brush it does an amazing job. He’s been in ortho a year and a half now. He was supposed to be out 4 months ago but Covid shit everything down and he just started going back and has 1 more wire to go. But as a mother with a teenager in braces I highly recommend this one because I’ve seen the outcome when teenagers don’t clean well in ortho and develop caries around their brackets and have to have multiple fillings but surprisingly my son is caries free after even after 18 months using this. Mind you I have his teeth cleaned every 4 months at my office but considering his brushing habits that’s still a great accomplishment.

Are you referring to the practice of using coconut oil? Edit: I just read your previous post. Honestly I’ve been at a high society specialty office for 13 years and we only accept referrals in and we only refer out to specialists. We don’t take Medicaid and we are not in any insurance networks so the bulk of our patients are cash patients. That being said I have never once heard of a highly trained dental professional refer to coconut oil. Not saying it doesn’t work or it isn’t a good practice but personally I’ve never seen it used.

Activated charcoal tooth powder
Crest 3D white with charcoal
2x/ year dental cleaning. ( fuck flossing)
Drink water

IDK bra. I can only speak for myself. You want the raw truth? Growing up we were poor AF and didn't know it. Couldn't afford to go to the dentist. My teeth still white as snow sitting over half a century. Problem was I wasn't flossing. Gums were bleeding went to dentist told me I had periodontist. Took them almost a year to get rid of that shit. Told me if I hadn't come when I did I woulda lost all my teeth within a year.
Scared the fuck outta me because my teeth are really nice never had a single cavity. So, now I use those sword like dental floss gadgets because I never have been able to use regular floss effectively.
Dentist suggested a manual toothbrush. Since I started using it not as much shit gets stuck in my teeth and flossing is minimal as a result. I don't think it has anything to do with brothers being nasty or not knowing basic hygiene. OP just passing along his opinion. Why cant that be cool? Its not like he's trying to sell a nigga anything.

This is where i'm at now. I floss every night before bed. hate that shit but u gotta do it. I might check out a waterpik if it makes the task more enjoyable.
Update: Been using the 9750 for the past few days and I can really feel and see the difference. The app is cool cause it tells you if you're too aggressive with the brushing or if you need to go over an area again. When finished brushing, it asks if you floss, mouth rinse, and clean your tongue. My personal routine is placker floss in the morning, the whitening brush, mouth rinse and tongue scraper. At night, plaque brush, mouth rinse, tongue scraper, waterpik cordless flosser with mouthwash/water mix to give me the fresh taste before bed. Imma say it was worth the money spent. Ill see what my hygienist says next month.
