Peyton Mannning to the Denver Broncos!!!!!

Why not San Fran? Great, young defense, solid O-line, good run game, potentially one of the best receiving cores in the league, great coaching staff, nice weather, historic franchise.

Is playing in the same conference as Eli that big of a deal breaker?

it must be
and the broncos must have told him that you can do anything you want and bring in anyone you want change the offense however you like to.

and i'm not mad at him if they're giving him that much control

not the best decision to get a ring
but hey that's on him

I wonder how much the 49ers offered him? This greedy nigga chose money over winning.

How you figure that??

Hes in the AFC WEST!

with the Chiefs, Raiders and Chargers....

they will be in the playoffs every year he is healthy.....

not like he went to Buffalo....

San Diego Chargers ....v

Oakland Raiders ...V

Kansas City Chiefs ...V

all these teams r on the decline....or rebuilding....

I would only say the the Raiders are rebuilding because of the coaching change, NOT because of the team dynamics, Hue Jackson was fired because he gave away their future for the present and the present didn't pan out, the Raiders are a contender no doubt!

If Campbell and McFadden didn't get hurt the Raiders would've easily won that division last year, Jackson was fired because he gave up too much to NOT make the playoffs, they could've done nothing and still been home in January.

I still feel that San Fran was a better choice to get a ring but @ least Denver was #2.

I guess he didnt want to play Eli in the Conference Championship game :dunno:

If true, that neck better hold up in that cold.

Ta ta, Tebow.

Not exactly. Moved to fullback, halfback, 3rd down outlet in the flat, option plays or tight-end - just watch and see. I'm not a fan of dude @all but he can make plays with his legs. Nothing like a HOF QB to make the defense forget the man running the wheel route. The will run him @ the slowest LB to make plays.

I don't know about this move for Manning. Them young receivers aren't really for Manning and the complicated offense that comes with it, no star running back and end of the year weather at home it seems like the worse choice.

With all the changes the 9ers were making and the weapons the Titans have (Britt, CJ, decent veteran in Washington and two pretty good TEs) I don't know why he picked the Broncos...
:dunno:

Manning, apparently only smart when he is under center. I didn't watch many denver games as I'm on the east coast but I don't remember their O-line being talked about as being solid or even good. QB play is so dependent on a well-knit O-line. True that he does not hold the ball very long but...

Is having to go against your brother a big deal? What, whoever loses is gonna fall on a sword?

It's like Lebron... In Cleveland they were in the playoffs every year, it would have been a spectacular accomplishment if they got a ring...In Miami if he doesn't win at least one something is wrong. Cleveland is Denver Miami is San Fran.

Tweet from Shannon Sharpe:
"The Broncos got Peyton Manning. I guess that Tebowing thing really works!......"

not really too excited.
always thought Manning was
a lil overrated when it came
to winning in the playoffs.

now, coming off the
injury, over 35yrs-old,
no bonified weapons on
offense in denver, idk if
it will work. san fran signing
woulda been bananas.

This is no surprise at all. Manning has been a week pussy since he played at Tennessee(lost to Fla every year and no championships). San Fran has it all in place to make a run at multiple titles the next 5 years so the pressure won have been huge on him to deliever titles. He would have walked into a ready made situation for him to win but instead he chose to go to a Denver team that has nothing going on at all. The running game is an illusion in that it was good because of a gimmicky running qb.He has no WR's to work with at all.No one can name the TE on this team. O-line is a weakness on the team that was made to look better than it was because of a running QB. The defense has some pieces in place but it still ranks in bottom portion of defense ranks. If he went to SF he joins a team that would be the favorite to win SB,with Denver they are at best 6 in AFC behind Pats,Ravens,Steelers,Texans,Bengals. No brainer move and he pussied out again and went where there is no pressure to win SB.

Wow....y'all really bugging. No offensive weapons? So all of a sudden Den has no running game? They dont have two big play receivers? Don't let that Tebow offense fool you. And BGOL even said the defense carried the team but now they don't have a good D? Come on now....

you guys are the #2 choice with just the 2 teams on paper and opportunity to win.

he went with you guys
and you have talent and he can do good there.

the broncos and the niners make sense

it was the titans and the dolphins that didn't make sense

kudos to you guys

How is that logic bra? What was Denver's defensive rankings? What was McGahee doing before Tebow got inserted? What has KnoSho Moreno ever done? Only consistent wideout on that team is Decker but don't act like he's an all pro lol. Good luck Manning with Tebow gone teams are going to blitz the shit out of Denver.

I will agree with you there but Denver is the poor man's San Francisco in every way. The Broncos receiving core is good but SF's is better. Denver's running game is good but SF's is better(not including Tebow). Denver's defense is good but San Francisco's is better. SF has a good coaching staff but SF's is better. The AFC West is shitty but SF's is shittier.

The only advantages I see is a better stadium, an easier conference and not having to go through Eli to make it to a SuperBowl. I don't even see the additional cap space as an advantage because San Francisco is more loaded with talent so all that Denver could do is (maybe) equal it, which is far from guaranteed.

I won't disagree with anything you said but Denver did the best with the situation they had going on. They reinvented a new offense in basically two weeks and ran with it. That wasn't to me the true Denver offense or defense for that matter because the defense was often tired due to being on the field majority of the time.

Athletes will say no excuses but honestly a rested defense is your best defense and an offense that is balance is also your best offense. This year will be a better chance to really see what this Denver team is about.

But I will stop before the "homer" word come out.

I'm happy for you. You are good people and stick with your squad through thick and thin. I just believe that Manning's decision wasn't just about football and having the best chance to win. I think he looked at what is best for his family and what he could do after football with the Broncos organization much more than X and O's and the ability to win the most championships.

Awful choice. It's clear Peyton did not base his decision on winning. As a Cowboys fan I wanted him on SF because things like that bring excitement to the league. Dude is gone be QB of a 9-7 team for the rest of his career

We have alot of bandwagon fans, they want the Broncos to fail just because Tebow wont be the starter...Bandwagon fans get on my dayum nerves....

I hope we get a solid receiver and a defensive tackle

Im glad Elway was aggressive pursing Manning

Peyton's numbers speak for themselves (much like Marino's..... HOF worthy) and he already has a 'ship and played in another, his legend is already cemented so "most championships" become a moot point. More than likely he isn't gonna catch Montana and Bradshaw, hell he may not even catch Aikman & Brady

If I'm Peyton and coming off a neck injury that could have ended my career I'm going to play for the highest bidder. More than likely that wouldn't be the best opportunity to win though.

C/S Every time the defense is on the field longer than the offense that team often loose the game. btw Manning signed with Denver.

Yeah on a team that was 8-8 with Tebow. Sounds about right. I swear I try not to sound like a homer but some things y'all say just doesn't make that much sense.

Let's keep it 100 percent real here. The San Francisco 49ers are a better team than the Broncos PERIOD

A top 5 defense,

Randy Moss, Vernon Davis, Mario Manningham, Frank Gore, Ted Ginn JR.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Peyton's BEST CHANCE to win a ring was with the 49ers. What was Peyton looking at? The dude pulled an Anti-Lebron

It's whatever though, that's just me. I wish him all the best in Denver.

If he takes the Broncos to the Superbowl, I will be like :wepraise:.

1) I'm happy for this move because hopefully the 49ers get burned!
2) I'm terrified by this move because i hope Tebow doesn't go to the dolphins.

:crying::crying::crying: there r floods all over san fran due to access water coming out of cars

peyton:i could have my best year ever in san fran but with kyle williams as the return man i mite not ever get on the field

they're saying 5 years $95 million
wow
nah....
24q1n3d.jpg

That's a lot but would what would you have said if the Niners signed him to the same deal? I think it's a bit much only because of the gamble involved but if/when he gets %100 then it should become worth it. He is getting older though so who knows...:dunno:

Deion going hard on Twitter right now.

This makes sense. If Denver's O line and WR's were good enough to make a mediocre QB look great, they should make a great QB look like a grid iron god out there.

The 9ers or Denver made the best sense  I woulda liked to see Tebow stay tho and learn from both Elway and Manning
