lets say kids having an assembly at their elementary school graduation sing

and change the lyrics a little to make it about their school
and the school records it and SELLS it to the parents...
they could be SUED?????
That's a good one. Here's what happened with 2 Live Crew: Roy Orbison's people got at them for their use of "Oh Pretty Woman", even though they switched up the lyrics to "dick sucking woman" and "bald headed woman", and shit like that. IIRC, the judge ruled it a parody, because they were singing the same melody with different lyrics, kind of like Weird Al. As for the financial outcome, I never got the full story, because we were still on tour at the time, so I'll have to look it up.

Underneath it all water always seeks its own level. No matter how a person carries themselves, speaks, etc. The real them can always be exposed in who they get with, especially after they have resources to get something better.
