I actually like Paul for the fact that he actual fights. Yea he needs to go back to the lab but cats acting like he wasnt an issue before and after his first lost. I do think he got caught. He puts alot of pressure on fighters and I can respect that.

I always said I thought Martinez would win, not like this, but I favored him in both fights, check my comments in other threads. You can't validate a Floyd win against PW based on this fight?!?! Martinez has a different style and is bigger and stronger than Floyd. I still believe PW would give Floyd fits and possibly beat him. Validating a Floyd win based on this fight is like saying Chris Byrd would beat Valuev because Haye did?! Two different fighters, Floyd doesn't have the strength or style to get this type of a result. - Paul regroups, gets a more experienced trainer, and reinvents himself like Sumbu Kalambay did after a devastating KO lost to Michael Nunn.
Kalambay gave Hall of Famer Mike "The Body Snatcher" McCallum all he could handle in a split decision lost many thought that he had won. He capped off his career with good wins over Herol Graham and Steve Collins.
- Permanent neurological/psychological damage. He'll never been same. He'll be susceptible to even "lighter" punches.
- Pad younger, upcoming fighter's record on their way up the latter i.e. if you can't beat Paul, highly unlikely you'll be a champ/gatekeeper
If I were Al Haymon, I'd get him 4 or 5 non-televised matches to rebuild his confidence and step him up in about a year.

You are full of shit with this post. Boxing isn't a league so boxers are independent and the bigger name always set the rules. They usually choose things that would give them the advantage like ring size, the type of gloves, the weight that the fight will happen at like Pac's catch weight shit and so on. Now this whole shit about drug testing came out the blue but who gives a fuck... It doesn't give either fighter an advantage. Pac turned the shit into a circus.

He (and Manny but moreso Mayweather) should be looking to make fights with Berto or some other ranked welter. To make a fight with either Williams or Martinez would mean them come all the way to 150 and that would be a horrible mistake for guys who weighed 168 last night.

He fought Shane this year and to be honest there is only one fight I want from either of these guys.
