Big ballas taking no losses?

Kevin love is on a fresh 100 milly deal

We have multiple assets and pics and young players

Nobody wants cacs breh
Normally yes, but take into a few things, one he is two years into the contract, with the third being a player option, next Love will attract fannies to the stadium and team, so they will make far more money with Love than starting from scratch with some younger talent, and thirdly and most important, P.G. is calling the shots, and I seriously doubt that there is enough in Chicago to draw him there, especially once they deplete their young talent you are talking about..
BTW name some names because I don't see this pool of young talent you are talking about...

Think of it this way...
What is the point of saying what he said?? If he really wanted to sign with the Lakers he would do like every other player and sign with them as soon as he could.. If anything he wont say a thing allowing other teams to possibly drive up the price for his services.. At least this is what reputable agent would instruct him to do..
But by saying he isn't going to sign and claims he prefers to sign with the Lakers, what he is really saying is that he wants out of Indiana asap and the only teams that should apply are the teams he decides to play for... Realistically there are around three teams who stand a chance of trading and signing for P.G. and if all fail then chances are he will sign with the Lakers...
All he is really doing is using the Lakers for leverage for a trade and sign, right away, and if not he is threatening to walk out to the Lakers for nothing in return..
Now the reason why he may want to play for the Cavs would be the same reason why Durant signed with the Warriors, for one he is not too keen on the commitment of the Pacers to put forth a winner, and the Lakers have a season to prove they are about that business, before he signs with them..

Isn't similar yo the bullsh*t Melo did when he was in Denver?

Bron...Dude is older and need a PG on this team at this point....
Actually I see them trying to do what they did when love was there, that is take what the defense gives them.. As far as needing a pg, LeBron does that so thats no biggie, what they do need is for a little bit more depth in the front court to replace some of Loves rebounding numbers, but Traveres should help..

Yeah its a well known tactict to force your team to trade you to the team you want to play for.. Like I said before, Love did the same exact thing when he was in Minny, matter fact used the same exact script by mentioning the Lakers as the team he preferred to play for.. Another key to the trade is that Love doesn't have a no trade clause in his contract..

If I was a Cleveland GM and Indiana reached out to me for a trade, I'd send them Tristan Thompson overpaid ass and move Love to the 5 while looking at getting a free agent big to back him up.
Would be nice but its not going to work.. Besides T.T. been playing out of position, will be interesting seeing him play more P.F. next season next to a center who can be one of the premium shot blockers in the paint..

I agree. Personally I think Melo would be a better fit than PG. At least Melo can play the 4 and has done so effectively already. Plus Knicks front office is dumb enough to trade for T.T. Glad I left that sinking ship of a franchise otherwise I'd have to go buy a wig just to rip out the hair from it since I already have no more hair to rip out.

You cannot have all scorers on a team, your going to need players who do the dirty work.. T.T. has a lot of Rodman in him, I like that, its just that he sometimes get frustrated by bigger players, due to him constantly playing out of position..
Another way to look at it, is think about how strong of a re-bounder and defender he will be knowing he will rarely match up vs players bigger than him again..
If the Cavs get P.G. they will have more than enough scorers, that's not why they lost to the Warriors, what they need to do is get taller more athletic, and more consistent numbers from their bench by adding P.G. and sliding T.T. to the 4 a lot of that has been solved..

Bruh you talking to casuals, everyone knows who knows the game of basketball will tell folk what killed the Cavs is ball movement and the warriors got 3 shooters who can move without the ball and don't need the ball in their hands.. got 10 mofos who can create and be playmakers..
Yep, you and Bills are both on it and are seeing the game from a detail level. People keep throwing superstar names out in reference to the Cavs, no consideration of chemistry, style of play or fit. PG, Melo, neither of them help the Cavs in the long run and can you imagine a team of PG, Bron and Kyrie on the court together!?!?! Against a real team they get eaten up and would be an easier Mark for GS. Cavs have to address team chemistry and overall grab better IQ players than worrying about grabbing stars.

Why would the Pacers take that trash for a star player
But the Cavs are a super team, how is it possible to have trash starting for them if they are a Super-team, next thing folks are going to be saying is that JR Smith is also trash and Love is nothing but a super roll player and not the top ten NBA player he really is..
Matter of fact I was assured by a well respected bgol basketball expert that Kevin love is a top ten NBA star, no if, whats, and buts about it..

No one is touching TTs contract

Cavs are a super team but just because it's a super team doesn't mean that some players can't be better than others. multiple great players makes a team super. they don't all have to be the very best at their position or even just the best players overall in the nba.
Warriors are a super team but people would say that George is better than Klay Thompson or Draymond green. so let's not do that.

The Rockets started this super team shit back in 1996 when they had Barkley, Olajuwon and Clyde the Glide. Olajuwon avged 23 ppg 9 rpg and 2 bpg that season, Barkley 19 ppg and 13.5 rpg and Clyde the Glide 18 ppg 6 rpg and 6 apg

Those guys played in Michael Jordan's era so it dont count.

Good team yes, superteam no... But to be fair if they were to get George its possible that they will become a superteam, and to be extra clear, just because you have a super team it does not mean your going to win shit...
But back to the original point Neither the Heat or the Cavs were real super team for one they had too many flaws, with the Heat they were a very poor rebounding team with no real point.. Also to me a superteam you have to have at lest three superstars and no weak spots, Wade Bron, were superstars Bosh to me was a star, but the weak spots in Chalmers and who ever the center was were real weak spots..
With the Cavs similar situation, LeBron and Kyrie are superstars Love to me was more of a super role player more of a star as opposed to a superstar. Again they have flaws that a team like the Warriors don't have, now even though Draymond and Klay may not be as good as George they are both as good if not better than Love, their so called third superstar.. With that saying the only thing close to a flaw the Warriors have in their starting line up was ZaZa and even he is a better player the center position than Tristian Thompson..
I do not throw around the term super team very loosely, actually I believe that there have been at best six superteams in the history of the NBA old Chmberlin Lakers, Showtime Lakers, Warriors, Bird Celtics and Russel Celtics, again does this mean they could not be beat by a team, say like the Jordan Bulls, no, but it does mean that from 1-5 those superteams had better talent..

Them ninjas was old and done.

They were 32 and 33 definitely not done. Look at the numbers they put up still that season. Lebron is 32 going on 33. Early 30s is not done
barkley was on back spasm mode..it was happening on the suns and got worse in houston
