Paul George is gone

Not only will he not get the same criticism Melo got the cavs won't get the same criticism Warriors got for signing a free agent when the cavs are trying to trade for someone yet again.
it's how the entire team was assembled and im good with that as long as you don't have a problem with anyone else doing it too

but this is also what im talking about 99% of the nba bitching about super teams cause a free agent signed somewhere and are now going to help the team that just beat the east's ass out with a superstar lol
Sour grapes already and no moves have been made yet lol

If Cavs get him it's on a rental... PG is going to LA period
No team will trade for him, unless its a trade and sign deal, similar to what happened to Kevin Love when he was on Minnesota and he was yapping about signing with the Lakers and the Celtics..

Don't believe the hype. IND is not trading PG to CLE. It's a leverage play.
They don't have any leverage in the matter, P.G. is the one in the driver seat... Remember they can only trade him to a club he agrees to sign and play for, and trust me that list is very short...

Indiana has no leverage PG is out regardless...He is telling Indiana just trade me now I'm not staying. ...Lakers have nothing to offer that's better than Love....Cleveland will get PG and retain him for years to come.

PG isn't doing a sign and trade with CLE. Plus, PG fucked up any leverage that he has. Indy holds the keys right now and they can squat on his contract.

Cleveland has next to no trade assets. Love is a bumish. Plus we have a young PF in development. Don't get too excited.

This trade only would work if Bron plays the point or if PG plays SG. Neither one want any play at PF.
He was basically play P.G. this season, but reality he will be playing the three, while George plays the 2, TT the 4 and Traveres the 5... This is what may be their base lineup going into next season..

No, they are leveraging against to Lakers to act now. If they don't, then he'll just wait.

And nothing to offer better than Love? ARE YOU SERIOUS? Tell me you didn't say that.

Then why mention anything, why not wait till next season and then sign with the Lakers?

Matter of fact I commented a few months ago that George my wind up with the Cavs for Love if the Cavs did not win this season..

What do the Lakers have?PG working out already so the Lakers can challenge the Warriors for the west right ha

Paul George basically told Indy to trade me. He'd fit in great in Okc but why waste the players and draft pics? He might as well get ready to play in Sacramento or Brooklyn

It's obvious George is pulling a Kevin Love, where he is forcing his team to trade him to a contender for a sign and trade, or else threaten not to sign back...

that's all im saying a team has to be crazy to trade for him if he not going to sign an extension with them.
and he already said he wants to play in l.a. this is a crazy ass situation to be in if you're the pacers.
you gotta get the best you can get for him before he just leaves

and if he goes to okc who they sending back?

He said it in a passive aggressive way, so that he doesn't come off as a prick.. Almost as if he is helping the team get a player in return, just as long as they give into his demand.

Mention what? Who PG? He fucked up. There's a lot at stake here in regards to him moving sooner, rather than later. And it has nothing to do with CLE. If he gets traded to the Lakers, they have his rights and can pay him more when it's time to re-up. Now, he sabbatoged any possible deal. That's why Indiana has to make threats to get the Lakers to flinch. He's not committing to CLE when he doesn't know if Lebron will be there. And he wants to go to the Lakers. The Pacers would be fools to sign and trade with CLE and face PG and Lebron in the foreseeable future. Everybody working right now would get ran out of town. Same division.

Uh, a draft pick. Young assets. A lot of them.

Kevin Love is a role player who really can't fit on our roster. Can't handle the ball. We have a 4 already.

Its obvious that he is trying to go to the Cavs... Everyone knows that they may be shopping Love, and his trade value fits perfectly with P.G.
The reason why he brought up the Lakers is to let management know that if they don't get it done, they are officially assed out...
To be honest I think the only teams in the game are the Cavs, Boston and perhaps the Spurs, if they were willing to part with L.A.
And if you look at that list clearly the Cavs are the favorites in the P.G. sweepstakes..

Larry Bird got out of there for a reason...Indiana will not be a contender in the foreseeable future....Lakers aren't coming off any picks... Indianapolis would rather have K love over Julius Randle...I see now teams will get blamed for helping the cavs

Why declare he will not sign back with the Pacers next year? Why mention the Lakers at all.. If I was his agent I would tell him to stfu, wait to the end of the season then drive up a bidding war, then when his stock is at its highest then sign to the team you want to go to....
By doing what he did, many teams will lose bidding interest allowing the Lakers to short cut his pay..

only viable option would be oladipo, one of the young players and a draft pick....that's too much

Why would P.G. go to a team with no players to back him up, isn't that what he is trying to escape in Indiana..
Plus the Lakers still owe the 76ers a first round pick, so their ability to trade may be hampered even more..
As far as Love on Indiana, that is a fucking whiteboy state who would love nothing more than to live Hoosiers memories vicariously through the play of Love..
Plus he is a lot better than getting nothing back for P.G.

Cleveland is getting PG :dance2::dance2:

Lebron is going to dump contracts with the trade as well JR Tristan and Love so if by a chance he and PG don't curb stomp GS and PG leaves for LA LBJ is now free to get another free agent and more players because cap space is free

This shit is chess not checkers ...

The timing. I'm guessing. Before the draft. There's no way he can play in Indiana next season now. So the Lakers are going to have to break bread IMO. This Cavs talk is a smoke screen to get LA to act faster. I told one of my Lakers friends, they need to get PG in the system ASAP. Last week. But now, it's a mess.

I'd be shocked as hell if they sent him to the Cavs. Because he's in the division and they don't have anything productive to offer. It's possible but I think it's a smoke screen.

Dude if you don't get your cheerleading ass on somewhere. You're going to trade your whole frontcourt for a SF/ SG? Seriously.

Holler at me, when y'all land him.

It's not obvious lol
it might happen might not but it ain't obvious
Just because I use the term obvious clear cut favorites, it does not mean that it will happen..
Even if they do get P.G. the Cavs roster will change dramatically, and yes he should be able to replace the points Love puts up with ease, who is going to replace his numbers on the boards? I think this trade may wind up hinging on the Cavs being able to trade Shump and their faith in Traveres...
As far as the Pacers if this truly what P.G. wants, the only true choices they may have is trading him for Love, trading him for someone not worth the value of Love or losing him for nothing...
But everything is subjected to change...

How in the world can he fit OKC if KD couldn't win there? And PG can't hit a game winner to save his life.

There is little to no way P.G. plays for the Lakers next season... Number one they don't have enough assets and number two the only way it makes sense him on the Lakers is if he signs after next season.. Think about it, if he was so hell bent on staying on a losing team, he may as well stay with the Pacers and call it a day...
