Paul George is gone

Why would P.G. go to a team with no players to back him up, isn't that what he is trying to escape in Indiana..
Plus the Lakers still owe the 76ers a first round pick, so their ability to trade may be hampered even more..
As far as Love on Indiana, that is a fucking whiteboy state who would love nothing more than to live Hoosiers memories vicariously through the play of Love..
Plus he is a lot better than getting nothing back for P.G.

No. PG is trying, actually escaping to raise his profile. Brand. The Lakers could also land another superstar.

The Lakers wouldn't have to gut their roster to accommodate the Pacers. Just a couple/ few young prospects could do it. Easily.

Kevin Love is white. But he's a bum. And he's brittle. And we have a power forward. What's he going to play, the 3? Think man. And he's damn sure not playing the 5. Indiana doesn't fit Kevin Love other than him being white.

How in the world can he fit OKC if KD couldn't win there? And PG can't hit a game winner to save his life.
Right now you have to think the current bid is Kevin Love, now how many teams on P.G. list have enough to top that, with out fleecing the talent pool..

Dude if you don't get your cheerleading ass on somewhere. You're going to trade your whole frontcourt for a SF/ SG? Seriously.

Holler at me, when y'all land him.

I love Tristan but if he is not grabbing 20 boards a game hitting his free throws he is a liability Love is a great player but he never really fit in and also he is a liability on D, JR my nigga but if his shot ain't dropping he is useless and he old im sure we can replace those players easily.

fuck bring Andy back to

Could also land another super star is far different than having one... Look if the Lakers really want to step up, if he doesn't get traded they have until next season to show P.G. they are really about business... But no vet is going to sign on a humble that maybe they will get good...

Sorry fam KLove is better than anybody on the Pacers right now not named George

Think about it Thompson was playing out of position, he is really a 4 playing a 5... If Love goes, TT could slide to his natural position, while Traveres slide to Center.. Plus they will still have the option of playing small with TT at center if the match up favors it..

There is little to no way P.G. plays for the Lakers next season... Number one they don't have enough assets and number two the only way it makes sense him on the Lakers is if he signs after next season.. Think about it, if he was so hell bent on staying on a losing team, he may as well stay with the Pacers and call it a day...

What? They have Russell, they have Clarkson, they have Nance Jr. That young white center rookie. They got people! A lot of people. Do you pay attention to the rest of the league? They have young assets man. Trust me.

Ball (rookie deal)
PG
Ingram (rookie deal)
Randle
:itsawrap:

Pending superstar. I don't need anybody else for what I'm trying to do. That's a solid core going forward. Not saying they are going to part with those above players. But they have people to move.

Take it from the Knicks, you can play top media market all day, but if you don't win you wont be shit... No one gets endorsements off the strength of what a team did years ago..
Players today know, that as long as you win, especially on high profile prolific winners like the Cavs and Warriors, all the endorsement money will knock at your door..
Today's NBA is a international sport and those who get the most shine are the ones playing on current winning teams, not the echos of the NBA past glory..

That team sucks!!! And even with George are at least 4 years away from being relevant in the NBA...

Melo raised his profile significantly playing in NYK. So what are you talking about? Plus, look at the Clippers. All on my TV. All in the videos, all on the songs, dancing. Haven't won shit.

That is Los Angeles man. He's going to raise his profile playing there.

And I don't know what the man is thinking, honestly, but going to LA, showing out, he's going to lift his brand. They had billboards begging Howard to stay. Nobody cares about my Pacers.

And he's damn sure not going to do it, being some underling to Lebron. That's for sure. It will be all Lebron's credit. His greatness in the end.

No he didn't... At one time he was mentioned on the same breath as LeBron now he is just another aging player dying on the Knicks..
The problem with the Knicks is that they assumed that talent would come knocking on their door just because they reside in NYC, but in today's NBA you have to actually show commitment towards winning...
Like I said before there is little to no way that P.G. plays for the Lakers next season, and as you said there is little to no way he goes back to the Pacers after the bridge he burnt, so do the math from there... So far the highest bid is Kevin Love, you have anybody on George list that can match that offer with out gutting up the team?

We'll just have to disagree then.

The big conflict with that Kevin Love scenario is, PG isn't going to do a long term deal with them without knowing what mysterious Lebron is going to do. They don't have any money and Love is an key piece to that engine. Doing dirty work.

So, you're the Cavs. You get PG for a year, guaranteed. He bolts. You now have, no PG, no Love, and possibly no Lebron after that. Because he loves winning. That's the problem with that scenario.

So if CLE fans are high fiving after a Love and PG swap, guess what, you're on very thin ice going forward. Not happening my friend.

Here is the funny thing, I actually think that LeBron is the one pulling the strings because its basically the same script he gave to Love to force Minnesota to trade.. Remember all the talk about him signing for the Lakers the following season, the same state where he played for in college, and how he was such a west coast guy... Well all that was bullshit to get him to go to the Cavs...
Matter fact the only time I ever heard of a player threatening to sign for a team a year before they were a free agent was Kevin Love, coincident, perhaps but its too familiar for me...
Matter of fact I even called this shit months ago, that's how predictable it is to me..

Welp. We'll see about that. Think it's going to get interesting, but not Love for PG simple.

If they get PG I think this puts them over Warriors. Cavs lost cause when Bron went to the bench Cleveland couldn't defend or score.
It's not going to be that simple, adding P. G. will dramatically change the identity of the Cavs, way more than the Warriors with K. D.
Then they may be forced to give real minutes to an unproven player Traverse at center. It's going to take a lot of adjusting, getting used to that lineup.

I know it's not what you want, but I peeped the match a long time ago and knew that as soon as your hear P. G. talking shit about leaving, especially if the Cave lose, first thing that's going to come up is Love for PG and according to racist and espn it has already begun.

no that's not why they lost.
they still got outscored when bron was on the court too

the problem was overall defense george helps with the overall defense but offensively how is it going to work? that'll make 3 dudes who are used to having the ball in their hands in order to score. and only 1 who can make the other 2 better but they only really work if they get to create from start to finish...

So could LeBron end up in LA after next season with Paul George? That could happen.

The only way LeBron leaves the cavs again is if they try not to retool so he can avenge the lose to the Warriors ....The way PG is moving he want to go to a contender...I think him and Bron already talk they just aren't making things obvious...Bron told him come to Cleveland and what KD did this year can be you next year...PG in the gym already, the finals just ended...Bron is also in the gym already...PG about to be a Cav....Bron ain't worried he has something for golden state

Absolutely no, the key word is sign and trade, just like Love did when he signed with the Cavs. Ask yourself why would LeBron want to play for the Lakers with that lineup they have? If anything it would make much more sense them both signing with a team like the 76ers, a young team with far more talent than the Lakers..

Bruh you talking to casuals, everyone knows who knows the game of basketball will tell folk what killed the Cavs is ball movement and the warriors got 3 shooters who can move without the ball and don't need the ball in their hands.. got 10 mofos who can create and be playmakers..

Looks like we gonna see Bron, George, and Ball in the purple and gold in 18. ;)
