PASS/FAIL: Jameis Winston Draft Day Pic

If it wasn't so obvious where he could have some plausibly deniability, it would have been a pass.

Fail for obvious media trolling. He needs a publicist asap.

why would this even be up for consideration as a fail?

are they going to undraft him? will he he not be able o compete for the starting job now?

He's 21 years old. Treat him like he's 21. Athletes are always expected to act like they're 40 when they're 20. He's just more successful and had a better career path than the 21 year old undeclared student who smokes weed hangs out at the frat and backpacks during the summer to "find himself"

unlike those kids who get understanding, he actually has a lucrative career ahead of him

Are we talking about the crab legs?

The kid has said before that he loves crab legs.

His was surrounded by his friends and family, do you all not think they had crab legs available to their son, grandson, cousin on his day?

He snapped a picture while he was eating, no big deal unless you want it to be a big deal.

We post WAAAY worse shit on here!!! and MORE CHILDISH I might add!

I like it :D I'm laughing like a muhfucka!

Confirmed TamPA bay was not amused at all.

I thought it was funny clever probably get an endorsement deal.

But he could have done with out it...just getting the mob hyped more.

But come game time?

All jokes must cease.

 Man.... Dude just blowin' off steam. He's been dealing with a lot of unnecessary criticism over basically nothing.

At 21 he just a kid having fun. He didnt do anything stupid like get knocked for weed, or go shoot up a club. He took a pic in front of some crablegs... Shits is good. If someone wants to read between the lines and connect the dots thats on them. Yeah we know hes fucking with his detractors, but so the fuck what??? I dont understand how people eat this "maturity" shit up that the talking heads at ESPN has been pushing. Tom Brady trolls on social media its funny even though hes damn near 40. Jameis at 21 does its a maturity issue??? The kid can play, and his ON FIELD leadership is unquestioned so why are people mad??? It really is a non story to anyone but people with an axe to grind.

^Dammit, this brother gets it.

Dude is a kid, having fun. Shit if I were in his position, I probably would thumb my nose at the "haters" as well...... Since it pissed so many CAC's off, I'm going to say PASS.....

right, I thought it was funny. Sensitive ass people

this piece of shit...he has some fucking nerve...he should be appreciative and show it...should have taken a pic w/ his head bent down low and his eyes raised up just slightly enough to show thankfulness and a bit of humility...fucking scumbag

Shits funny

General manager Jason Licht announced Friday that Winston has signed his rookie contract. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that the former Florida State quarterback signed a four-year, $23.35 million deal that includes a $16.7 million signing bonus, according to a source.

Jameis Winston wasn’t trolling with his crab-legs photo. He got them from a ‘Deadliest Catch’ captain.

There are many reasons people dislike Jameis Winston, the No. 1 pick of Thursday’s NFL draft, but his posting of a photo to Instagram in front of a plate of crab legs on Thursday night should not be one of them, according to former NFL quarterback Shaun King.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">If people only knew how STUPID they sound killing this kid over that picture smdh</p>&mdash; shaun king (@realshaunking) <a href="https://twitter.com/realshaunking/status/594151024903860224">May 1, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

King, as well as Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud, offered a perfectly reasonable, albeit odd, explanation for the photo, which many took as an immature allusion to the time Winston was busted for stealing crab legs from a grocery store as an Florida State student.

The picture, according to King and Stroud, had nothing to do with trolling, but with trawling. Winston posted the picture as a courtesy to Capt. Keith Colburn, star of “The Deadliest Catch,” who reportedly sent Winston 25 pounds of crab legs as a gift for his draft party.

See, Colburn and Winston are apparently friendly. Three weeks ago, according to Stroud, Colburn asked Winston for help auction off a king crab at the Mike Alstott Charity Auction. Winston “took the gesture in self-deprecating good nature,” Stroud reports, which led Colburn then to send Winston the 25 pounds of crab legs for his party on Thursday.
