I've got the usual stuff like AMC and FX and HBO / Max already bundled in ... they've had alot of good content.
But definitely kept my ear to the streets, BGOL & critics for all the stuff from Netflixandfuckingchill, Disney-Hulu, Paramount, and Prime.
And another one...

Man ... long line of alcoholism in my family. Both parents, grandpa, cousins, some uncles, an aunt, etc.
There may or may not have been an onion chopped somewhere nearby when I watched that movie. A few scenes got me.

I hear you. I saw problem drinking fucking up lives around me as a kid and teen, and that scared me straight. Didn't want to go down that path. Tried to focus on sports / school.
I got really scared seeing friends doing hard drugs in junior high. That derailed a number of peoples' lives, and I never partook in any of that shit. All that shit scared me. I was glad peer pressure wasn't heavy on me. People would offer it ... but I would deflect and play sports instead.

i never did hard drugs and never smoke cigs! I dont smoke weed unless im with a chick that does lol; ive done drugs that rock stars and actors have done, feel me, lol lol; but yea ive cut down on drinking tremendously...
I smoked a bit in my mid-teens. Fucked with edibles a bit in my mid-30s. Those are pretty fun. Had me mellow / chill. I'm a fast talker by nature, so it was kind of funny feeling myself slowing down. I was speaking articulately and philosophically at the house parties, lol. Edible chocolate chip cookie / mini Snickers bar were the go-to's.
Hard drugs ... never fucked with them. Saw my childhood friends at 13 and 14yo doing weed, shrooms and acid ... and then eventually cocaine / heroin. I was like WTF and still trying to figure out the bus routes / finish my homework.
Gotta be careful with those rock star drugs for those fuckin' with them today. Childhood friend of mine died via cocaine laced with fentanyl. Mind you, he had a nearly 30 year addiction to heroin and cocaine was NOT his drug of choice.
Fentanyl is a mofo and shit is crazy!! yea im cool on all the rock star drugs now lol lol; but man, the bitches go crazy with them type of drugs lol; thats why @Dr. Truth be doing them lol lol...
The pharmacy came to our job site to do Naloxone training and gave us kits probably somewhere around 2015 - 2017. I was sitting next to one of our oncall staff at the time and she told me her friend had recently died from an overdose. That shit hit home. My friend died in 2021. Went to his celebration of his life (mom organized it on his birthday in 2022). It was kind of harrowing seeing myself as a child sitting alongside him at several birthdays in the pictures & slideshow, etc. Died in the stairwell of his apt building.

'Paradise': Sterling K. Brown Teases Creator Dan Fogelman's 3-Season Plan for Hulu Series (Exclusive)

But what’s on the table for the future? While Brown couldn’t reveal particulars about his character Xavier Collins’ story, he did lay out what Fogelman has in mind for what he hopes is a three-season run. “In terms of big twists coming in, I can tell you this, [Dan] has conceived, as a show, three seasons,” Brown tells TV Insider.
“He’s like, ‘I’ve got three seasons in my head,’ and one thing I’ve learned is when Dan says, ‘I’ve got three seasons,’ he means, ‘I’ve got three seasons,'” Brown clarifies. As fans of their previous series This Is Us will recall, Fogelman had a six-season vision for the family drama, which received two multi-season pick-ups through its six-season run at NBC...
