Sometime late last year, a teaser popped up when I was watching something on Hulu. It looked interesting when the actor who plays POTUS talked about JFK assassination, Bigfoot and Aliens in the small clip. It struck my interest so I looked it up at the time and all I had found was that it was a murder mystery series. I immediately lost interest and forgot about it.

Later in my YouTube recommendations a video popped up on the series with some mofo giving his theory on “The Disaster”. That’s when I discovered there was more to this series.

I decided to just watch the pilot episode. It played out ok and was interesting and I was slowly losing interest…..until the last scene played and I was immediately hooked. I watched the 2nd episode immediately and had to force myself to turn it off cuz my Ass would have stayed up all night watching the full season. HaHa!!!

Not gonna go into details cuz I don’t wanna spoil it. The series revolves around a Doomsday event that affected the entire world. That’s as far as I will go.

If you are a Conspiracy Head, this series is for you. You will not be disappointed with the suspense and twists that play out.

Sterling K. Brown stars in it. This cat’s performance in the series is straight on point. He keeps your eyes on screen with how he does his character in every scene. Whoever cast him knocked it out the park.

The series has been renewed for a season 2 already.

Definitely looking forward to it.

Synopsis

The series follows United States Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. (Brown) as he seeks to discover the truth behind the killing of the President of the United States. As Xavier comes under suspicion for President Bradford's death, he searches for answers about what really happened, and is unsure of whom he can trust as his questions lead to many shocking revelations.

But what’s on the table for the future? While Brown couldn’t reveal particulars about his character Xavier Collins’ story, he did lay out what Fogelman has in mind for what he hopes is a three-season run. “In terms of big twists coming in, I can tell you this, [Dan] has conceived, as a show, three seasons,” Brown tells TV Insider.

“He’s like, ‘I’ve got three seasons in my head,’ and one thing I’ve learned is when Dan says, ‘I’ve got three seasons,’ he means, ‘I’ve got three seasons,'” Brown clarifies. As fans of their previous series This Is Us will recall, Fogelman had a six-season vision for the family drama, which received two multi-season pick-ups through its six-season run at NBC...

That's one thing about alot of these good tv series that the media / critics have been saying. Some great 2nd-to-last episodes of the season which set the bar high going into the finale. Tough for the finales to live up to ...
I got to get caught up on all these shows that people are watching; i havent seen shit really lol; @playahaitian be like nigga go watch some new shit lol; I think you gave me a list as well to watch...

There's just so much good stuff out there, even the critics have said THEY cannot keep up with all of it, and it's their fucking job, lol.

For me ... I had the bad habit back in the day of seeing bits and pieces of seasons, and then losing interest. Whereas with these shorter limited seasons, I've actually been able to watch stuff in full which is a better experience. I save some stuff for friends & my mom that they've requested or that I know they'll like, and have stuff that I watch with pops. So for him what I do is give him stuff on the flashdrive to watch until the following week. It helps us get through shows more quickly, and he just has basic cable, so he's happy to see the stuff I can share with him from the streamers.

Its not your fault bro

ITS TOO MUCH CONTENT.

I just get in where I fit in.

Pluribus is mandatory for me so is Mayor of Kingstown. Landman. The Diplomat is next I deliberately saved up episodes of that.

Law & Order and FBI and Tracker and Matlock are popcorn for me.

I binged Tulsa King by accident but each episode was 30 minutes

I gotta get in on Stranger Things but I don't remember ANYTHING so I have to start from scratch I aint ready for that yet.

I still got Peacemker and Murderbot and Shrinking.

I want to start All Mankind and Ted Lasso. Never finished The Bear. And Dixon Walking dead.

Its TOO MUCH!!!

And if you ever want aggregate scores / reviews for shows you MIGHT be interested in, check out Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes. Always like to hear what the assorted critics or fans are thinking. Plus, if you're a podcast listener ... just search the names of series and there's always people talking about the hit or prestige shows. I like keeping some of those in the rotation as they'll do deep dives on shows.

Back during Breaking Bad's run I would listen to comprehensive episode recaps from a few outlets while doing mundane shit like grocery shopping. I still do (always listening to podcasts running errands). Gotta multi-task and stay entertained, haha.

Breaking Bad is a must. There are some standout episodes on that show. One of the last episodes of the final season I went to work and was talking to a coworker about it (woman in her 60s). We were both like "wow" ... one of the best episodes we'd ever seen of any show.

I've never seen Thrones either.
