Man impersonating ICE shoots people on the highway in Dillard, Oregon
A white man in Dillard, Oregon was arrested for stopping people on the freeway to demand at gunpoint that they tell him if they were citizens. He shot and missed one + attempted to get another in his truck to bring to police. Before his spree, he called local PD to complain about "foreign" people.

A nine-year-old Illinois boy was left with horrendous burns after he decided to try a very dangerous TikTok trend involving a microwave.

While getting ready for school on the morning of January 20, Caleb turned on the microwave in his Plainfield home while his mother, Whitney Grubb, helped her other son get out the door.

Whitney thought Caleb was heating up his breakfast, but all of that changed when she heard a 'blood-curdling scream' from him, she told the Chicago Sun Times.

Instead of food, Caleb was actually microwaving a Needoh cube, a popular sensory toy or stress ball, filled with a thick gel substance.

The online challenge shows people placing the toy in the appliance so they can soften it up since they firm up over time.

But when Caleb opened the microwave door, the toy exploded on his face and hands, leaving him with excruciating burns.

'When I asked what happened, he told me that a friend at school told him about putting it in the microwave,' Grubb told the outlet.

'It wasn’t anything malicious, it was just kids sharing stories, and unfortunately, he decided to try it.'

A hedge fund tycoon claims all he has left is $239,000 and his two guinea pigs after his mother sued him for defaulting on a $13 million loan on a ritzy New York City mansion.

Jason Ader, 59, has had an astonishing fall from grace over the past few years, including filing a Chapter 11 petition for his company, 26 Capital Acquisition Corp, in September after splashing $370,000 on credit cards in the French Riviera.

Now, things have appeared to have only gotten worse for the disgraced activist investor who quietly filed for personal bankruptcy in Miami on December 22, according to court documents obtained by the New York Post.

According to court filings involving his estranged wife Julie and his mother Pamela Ader, the ex-Bear Stearns analyst admitted he owes around $2 million in debts during a call with creditors last week, the outlet reported.

His mother, a millionaire New York artist, sued him in August 2024 over his alleged unpaid debts.

She claimed her son defaulted on a $13 million mortgage that he took out against his late father Richard's townhouse in Manhattan's desirable Upper East Side neighborhood.

Ader has also accumulated debts with banks, lawyers, the Internal Review Service, and investors involved in the failed $2.5 billion takeover of Okada Manila - the largest casino in the Philippines.
