A group accused of having a part in a Long Island murder case were seen smiling and laughing as they left court, with bail laws preventing them from being behind bars.

Steven Brown, 44, Jeffrey Mackey, 38, Amanda Wallace, 40, and Alexis Nieves, 33, were arrested Tuesday and charged with charged with first-degree hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence by concealing or destroying, and concealment of a human corpse.

Mackey and Nieves were seen walking out of Suffolk County Criminal Court freely on Friday with wide grins on their faces.

Despite being arrested on the possible murder of a man and woman in Amityville, the pair looked to be in good spirits - with Nieves clutching a purple bouquet of flowers.

The suspects have been released from police custody without bail despite the ongoing investigation because of the 2019 'Bail Reform' law.

You both know the video is probably fake. Watch it again and think about what you saw and what you didn’t. Incidents like this usually require a lot of paperwork and the presence of supervisors on the scene.

Remember a few years ago when a Florida police officer arrested an FBI agent, causing widespread chaos. Even the police chief had to personally come to the scene.

JANUARY 12--Before stealing a used Stanley cup from a female co-worker, an accused thief remarked that the insulated tumbler “would be great to hold my breast milk,” investigators allege.

Cops yesterday arrested Arianna Moss, 29, on a misdemeanor charge in connection with the December 29 theft at a recreation complex in Largo, Florida.

According to an arrest report, Moss “was observed on video surveillance looking at the cup numerous times” before “taking possession of the victim’s 40 oz light blue Stanley cup” and concealing it in her lunchbox before exiting the Highland Recreation Center.

Moss, cops say, saw the 22-year-old victim frequently drinking that day from the $60 Stanley cup “during multiple interactions with the victim.”

At one point, a “witness/employee” told police, Moss had pointed to the cup sitting on an office cabinet and remarked, “This cup would be great to hold my breast milk.”

JANUARY 16--Another one of those TikTok “challenges” has resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old on a felony charge, records show.

According to Florida police, Isaac Hurley was found hiding inside a closed Walmart Tuesday evening as he was livestreaming his trespassing on TikTok.

Officers were dispatched to the retailer after a 911 caller said that a male suspect was broadcasting “from inside the Walmart for a 24-hour challenge.” The man, the caller added, was “hiding in the dog bed section” of the Englewood store.

Police reported finding Hurley (seen above) “hiding between dog beds and actively recording on his phone.”

After being handcuffed and read his rights, Hurley “advised that he believed he could earn money from TikTok views and decided to conduct a 24-hour challenge inside Walmart.” A subsequent review of Hurley’s TikTok located a video of him “stating he intended to complete a 24-hour challenge inside Walmart and requesting likes and shares.”

Hurley entered Walmart about 45 minutes before its 11 PM closing time. His planned 24-hour stay inside was cut short while some workers were still inside “finishing their nightly duties.”
