CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Clearfield County say a Morrisdale man is jailed after he allegedly attacked and injured two state troopers last week in what was described as a drug-fueled "fight" with police during a domestic violence call.

Police say they were called to a home in Graham Township on Wednesday morning after 36-year-old Keatin Gaines reportedly showed up naked and under the influence of drugs.

According to the affidavit, troopers say a female resident called 911 after Gaines allegedly told her "it was time to meet the Lord" and then began punching her in the head.

Investigators say that during the 911 call, Gaines reportedly locked himself in a bathroom with two children and the woman's husband.

Police say Gaines then allegedly began "praying loudly" and "drinking toilet water."

Troopers say that when they arrived at the home, they attempted to remove Gaines from the residence, at which time he attempted to "fight" them.

"No! You're the cops.....This is a fight," Gaines reportedly told troopers.

Police say the troopers attempted to taze Gaines, multiple times, during the altercation but were unsuccessful.

Investigators say Gaines repeatedly punched and kicked the troopers, causing one to suffer broken ribs and a bruised wrist, while the other suffered a possible broken bone in his hand.

Police say both troopers will have to received additional medical treatment and follow up with specific injury specialists.

Authorities note that Gaines was eventually given a sedative to calm down and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for evaluation.

According to online court records, Gaines was arraigned late last week on a variety of charges, headlined by aggravated assault, assault of law enforcement and resisting arrest.

A judge sentenced William Zulock, 34, and his husband Zachary Zulock, 36, to each serve 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, according to the Walton County District Attorney’s office.

The boys — two brothers who are now 12 and 10 years old — were adopted from a Christian special-needs agency by the couple in 2018.

The sickening abuse was believed to have taken place when the boys were as young as three and five years old.

“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” District Attorney Randy McGinley said, according to WSB.
