HARRISBURG, N.C. (WJZY) — Sixteen-year-old Autumn Williams is still trying to understand how the blonde hair color in her braids was deemed unnatural at her Chick-Fil-A job.

She says she felt singled out and embarrassed.

Appeals court throws out conviction after judge says Black man 'looks like a criminal to me'

"I'm tired of this case. I'm tired of this defendant. I'm tired of getting the runaround. This has been going on since February 6, 2018," Murphy said in court.

"This guy looks like a criminal to me. This is what criminals do," Murphy said. "This isn't what innocent people who want a fair trial do. He's indicted in Kentucky. He's indicted here. He's alleged to be dealing heroin, which addicts, hurts and kills people, and he's playing games with the court."

No arrest were made? I wonder why.

Car crashes into second floor of a house, and cops say driver did it on purpose

Occasionally we'll see an car crash in which some fluke of road elevation will cause a vehicle to catch big air. Just a couple of weeks ago, we saw video of a stolen Lincoln Town Car taking flight like Simone Biles in San Francisco, and it really stuck the landing. But these are accidents. Over the weekend, a 2006 Toyota Corolla defied gravity for a few seconds and crashed into the second story of a home in Lewistown, Pa. — and what's extra special about this crash is that the cops think the driver did it on purpose.

A Toyota Corolla. Who knew it had the right stuff.

Pennsylvania State Police are not saying why they think the Sunday afternoon crash was "an intentional act" or if the 20-year-old driver knew the home's occupants, but he has been arrested pending a long list of possible charges that could include aggravated assault, recklessly endangerment and criminal mischief. He was taken to a hospital with injuries.

The car wound up on a first-story roof, after poking a large hole in a second-story room. One of the occupants was home but was downstairs. The house, or target if you will, sits across from an open field, and there's a culvert that the authorities think the driver used as a launchpad.

“The raise and elevation from the bottom and top of the culvert was enough to give the vehicle the ability to clear the vehicles in the driveway and land in the second floor of the house,” the administrator of the responding Junction Fire Company told The Washington Post.

That's right, the Corolla leapt over other vehicles on the way to its destination.

Here are some photos of the crash scene, courtesy of the fire company:

It took the fire crew and a wrecker about three hours to get the car down and stabilize the structure.

Michael Goodman, a 43-year-old Glenbrook North alumnus, was ordered held without bail Tuesday. He's charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of 9-year-old Serabi Medina on Saturday night in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood.

Neighbors told the Sun-Times that Goodman had complained of kids being too loud in the past and had confronted Serabi's father about the noise before the attack.

The friends in the car and Serabi’s father saw Goodman walking across the street toward Serabi, and the father shouted at him to ask what he was doing, McCord said. Goodman ignored the father and followed Serabi to the vestibule of her building, McCord said.

Serabi’s father ran toward her, at which point Goodman raised the gun, pointed it at Serabi and shot her in her head, McCord said.

Are those 'fresh' wounds on his head? I hope so :curse:

The white race continues to be the most dangerous of all races on earth. How can you not think that a child making noise should be the least of your problems????? That skull should have been split open...
