That is why I am glad that my oldest seed is on the yard and embracing our personal Wakanda. Fuck these cac schools.
Fuck em... I knew for a fact I wasn't going to a school where I had to share a classroom with white people... It was always between Southern or PV...That is why I am glad that my oldest seed is on the yard and embracing our personal Wakanda. Fuck these cac schools.
This. I turned down scholarships to Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Auburn. I knew where I was going when they introduced us during the SU and Gram basketball game. It was a beautiful sight! Hopefully, I can convince my youngest because right now he wants to hoop at North Carolina.Fuck em... Bruh you raised some athlete's huh... I can't front I'm a HUGE UNC bball fan... I graduated high school in the top 10% of my class so if I had chosen a Texas school I could've gotten my first 2 years for free as a Texas Scholar... I saw Southern play TxSU in 97 at Rice Stadium and Southern band blew my mind... I was in middle school at the time, but I was playing football and in the band... That game made me give up on my football dreams cause I had to be in that band... PV had influence on me because of family ties, but nah couldn't do it... Grad school at UH was my first experience of being the "minority", thankfully it was a hybrid programThis. I turned down scholarships to Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Auburn. Yes indeed fam. My oldest turned down a partial academic / partial athletic at Sam Houston, Texas Lutheran, and Trinity. He had full rides at TSU, Central Kansas, and PV. The pandemic fucked over a lot of late bloomers like my son who grew 2 inches his Sr. Year. Southern stole a gem. He is 6'7, 215ish, can play 3-5, extra wet jumper, great basketball IQ, and very bouncy. He got the presidential scholarship, board of regents scholarship, and he is in the honor's college. They already started working out and coach Woods love him. My youngest is going to be taller than both of us, he is 12 5'9 180 and can play 1-5, straight As in the gifted program. I am glad you found the yard fam. It was the best decision I ever made. I always encourage cats to go to SU or the nearest HBCU. Our schools need more of us to support.Bruh you raised some athlete's huh... I can't front I'm a HUGE UNC bball fan... Why hide his tag, he didn't
You produced some athletic giants, I can dig it... Definitely think going to Southern was a blessing I wasn't aware of until after the fact... Had I stayed in Texas for school, I would've been focused on the wrong things...Yes indeed fam. What you'd expect from someone standing next to a full trash bag in a public setting
wow.. never knew this...ain't that some shit.03 they had this huge issue on campus with the students waving purple and gold confederate flags at games - Black students tried to get us at SU to help them out... I honestly think that and Nick Saban not being a yes man to the boosters are the reasons he left after that national championship in 03... He was vocal against that confederate flag bullshit
