The Gilbert deal wasn't bad??? Okay look at it like this. Orlando traded for Arenas who has how many surgeries in the last 3 years. Who before last year was showing signs of not being the same player he once was.

Now if Gilbert was a traditional PG this would be different but Gilbert is only effective when he scores. Plus he is coming off the bench. A 20 million dollar sixth man is never good. He is Orlando most expensive player. Only person willing to take a risk on Gilbert was his friend Otis. This was more personal than anything and came back to bite him in the ass.
