Oregon Ducks 48 Ohio State 17

This is more valid than the 2002 Championship. No referee call to decide things. The Buckeyes clearly showed they were the better team.
I agree. the chip in 02 belongs in Miami...and we all know it as fact!

Dude talking about he's leaving Florida for medical reasons.....and then turn around and win another title...:hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm:
I told y'all what happened there already.

urban was fucking a young student & his wife threatened divorce if he didn't leave!

he made up that bullshit story, took a yr our two off to join espn & waited for the right job opening.

now osu looks like Florida from 06.

I need harbaugh and michigan to stop this motherfucker NOW!

yo...do yall think Cardale Jones takes the risk and just goes to the draft?

This year there aren't a lot of great QBs.

He would not get drafted. He would have to enter as a camp pick up which comes with no guarantee and he can risk getting cut.

If Cardale Jones goes to the draft........I think he'll be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. He might want to stay another year to raise that value. Or maybe not. As a 2nd or 3rd round pick he may go to a contender as opposed to next year being a top 10 pick and going to the Raiders or some shit.

Damn, i didn't see this coming..i thought Oregon high power offense was going to crush OSU..i was wrong..:smh::smh:..oh well, congrats to OSU

Football is a basic PHYSICAL game. The offenses and highlights sell tickets but it's mostly about who wins the line of scrimmage and who is tougher in the end

dr truth...how many plays did Oregon run in the 2nd half?

how many did osu run?

that stat should tell you how to beat the ducks...keep the offense on the sideline & punch that lightweight defense right in the mouf!

eat the clock & wear em down; they ain't built to play "nasty" football...they're a finesse team.

Who in their right mind would draft a QB that has only started 3 games? The defense and the running game carried Ohio State.

He would be undrafted and would have to make it work in camp. Shit, if he could not beat out his teammates at Ohio State no way he is making a team

You're smoking dope if you think this kid won't get drafted. He'll got late 4th round at the latest and someone will try to develop him.

Man the New York Jets drafted a kicker in the 2nd round. Nothing shocks me about the draft after the 1st round. Shit even in the 1st round teams be taking projects and shit.

I could see him going undrafted as well. I could see a team taking a shot on him in the 7th round. But his stock is high enough right now IMO to get drafted.

college qb play isn't nfl osu fellas...shit gets real at that next level.

mariotta = system qb
jones = raw talent at this point.

it's hard to predict qb success at the next level...give that shit a break.

Oh. He won't start. I'm talking about someone taking him in the 3rd or 4th round to develop him. If you can get drafted in the 3rd or 4th round, you have to consider it.

Right. Matt Cassell got drafted and the nigga hadn't started a game since HIGH SCHOOL. The day he was drafted he had already started as many games as he did in college.

Tom Brady was over there sharing games with Drew Henson and shit in college. But Cardale can't get drafted?

Have you seen some of the people these teams be drafting in the 3rd or 4th round? If he didn't get drafted it wouldn't shock me but if he did it also wouldn't. If he did enter the draft he would be in someones camp by training camp that's for sure.

Bruh he aint getting drafted with these stats

12/17 252 yards

18/35 243 yards

16/23 242 yards

I like the brotha because it is a feel good story but let's not get carried away here. There are players who put up way more stats and never got drafted. It takes more than 3 games to make it to the NFL

EXACTLY. This kid can make all the throws and has a huge NFL body. He'll get drafted. Like you said, Brady was in a timeshare... Cassell wasn't even starting... and the draft this year is really thin at QB and people think he won't get drafted? That's crazy.

3rd round is a million dollar contract. Who will give a QB with pretty pedestrian stats that only started 3 games that kind of money?

Nigga it is a lot of tall physical impressive looking athletes:lol:

You have to take more than that into consideration. This is one of the weakest years all time for pro QB prospects. It's EXTREMELY thin. And it's thin in the NFL right now. There are some bum ass QBs starting in the league.

It's not about stats. It's about being able to make the plays. This guy is raw, but he's clearly better equipped to play the position better than Mariota.

Steven A is right now saying this guy goes late first round early second.

All what throws? All he was asked to do was hand the ball off:lol:

Yall niggas act as if he was lighting teams up for 500 yards

You would be a dumb ass GM to draft someone after 3 starts who did't even put up impressive stats. All he did was hand the ball off.

Why are you trying to make this guy just an "athlete".

He throws the ball much better than Mariota. There is no comparison. He's a much better POCKET QB that Mariota. It's not even close. he can stand in the pocket, read a defense, and make the throw. Something that Mariota couldn't do all night. Even commentator RIGHT NOW is on TV saying they would take Jones over Mariota EASILY in the draft.

Understand though when guys get drafted its not because of stats lol. Its based on game film and their potential.

Matt Cassell's stats in College:

1 for 2 for 5 yards
3 for 4 for 27 yards
6 for 13 for 63 yards
10 for 14 for 97 yards lol.

The question isn't if he would get drafted because I think he would. The question is should he enter the draft. I'm not sure what his future looks like for Ohio State. I don't think he has one in Ohio State. ITs either transfer to another school or enter the draft.

That is what he was supposed to do. Hand the ball off on that weak ass RUN defense. He made the throws when he needed to..this game and the others.

You would be the dumb muthafucka that would draft Mariota when you have 40 games of this muthafucka showing you that he can't throw from the pocket.

No one cares about yardage. You're asking if the QB can make the reads and make the throws. He does both better than Mariota already and he's still raw. He would go no later than the 4th round.

You'd be a dumb ass GM if it didn't work out. But if it worked out you'd be a genius. Raiders are called dumbasses for taking Jamarcus #1st overall but at the time I didn't see anyone complain and everyone projected him to be the best QB in the league.
