I just can't see him being a good NFL QB. It's not just the fast pace offense but it's just entirely gimmick driven. For him to make it in the pros a coach is going to have to completely cater to his style, which likely won't work too long in the NFL anyway.

Mariota has to make a play and not just take what the defense is giving him. Even Tebow can see that shit. They're giving him those little dump off passes to the first read. But what happens when they get in the red zone? They get up on those receivers and he has to go through his progressions. That's why the offense stalls in the red zone.

Mariota ain't gonna be shit at the next level bc he can't read defense. He's a programmed robot back there. Dude isn't progressing from presnap reads to post snap. And that slant/wiggle route, i think #9 has run a few times is all by design where Mariota looks left and automatically comes back right to hit him. Guarantee a pick bc that adjustment will be made by Ohio State. You could somewhat tell Urban Meyer don't respect the other coach when he wouldn't look him in the eye. This game is easy pickings for OSU. Watch the trick plays for Oregon or the poor attempt to ride with the run game in the 3rd.
