OH SHIT DWIGHT HOWARD request Trade to the Nets!!!!!!!!!

Fuck you Killa. And if it works out, congrats. D Will and Dwight with a few other pieces is a squad!

Killa i was wrong you were right

Dwight spoke up finally.....

Why not go to new jersey for a year. Opt out . get big money.

I thought orlando would wait to close to all-star break.

KIllA called it i thought u was just a crazy NETS fan...good call bro!!

Man a lot of you brothas don't get it: The Brooklyn Nets are in the best position to not only grab Howard, but also pair him with either CP3 or Deron.

I'm a die hard Knicks fan, but we have to call it for what it is: The Russian is in the best position of all teams.

That standing offer of Lopez and 1sts for D12 and a bad contract is major. If the Nets make that trade then here is where it gets interesting. Could the Nets then pull off another power trade with the Mavericks and Hornets where Deron ends up in Dallas, CP3 in Brooklyn, and all of Dallas' young prospects, picks, end up in New Orleans.

If the league nixed the CP3 trade to the Lakers from a basketball perspective, would they do it again if they got back picks and young talent? The Nets would be strapped and gutted, so would the Mavericks. But every party would be happy. That would force the leagues hand and prove that its about fairness not jealousy.

I'm starting to think that CP3 will end up a Net somehow..

[MAD_LAKERS_FAN]Man, fuck Killa and Dwight, and that Russian fag too!!! Jay Z, fuck you too!![/MAD_LAKERS_FAN]

this. only way he'd leave my team is free agency. Fuck da bullshit...

Fuck it then.

Let's see who wins in the long run.

CP3 stays in NO, and leaves next year. NO gets jack shit in return...

Or they trade him now, and at least get something (players, first round picks) for him.

I think they can do alot better than this crap they are being offered for Dwight....

dude, stern has veto power for anything he wants. every commish does. i'm saying stern can veto anything and not explain it. "nba reasons" doesn't say shit... but he used it.

plus owners who spoke to stern said he killed it b/c "he does not want to set the standard where player UNDER contract can dictate where they get traded too"

what did dwight just do?

demand the nets aka dictate where he will go while under contract to the magic

if dwight was a FA it don't matter but stern is not cool with players dictating where they go in trades while under contract.

remember the owners wanted to include a melo clause in the new cba to stop player dictation they didn't get it so now stern will enforce it using his commish powers.

stop it creed you not making sense again.

You said that Dwight would rather go to clippers than nets.

Stern killed the deal because the lakers gave up no picks and saved 40 million dollars.

in this deal Orlando has the advantage and what you failed to understand
. the same owners who pressure stern to do this would not fight this deal because

1 it makes sense
2 orlando gets out great in this
3 saves money

most important it shows that a team like the Nets. The so called clippers of the East were able to lure to free agents to their team.

not the lakers not boston not the knicks the nets. a team in two years that has won 36 games has a superstar saying I want to go there instead of the Lakers.

:lol::lol::lol: stop it creed you fighting this too hard
yall high?
:confused::confused:

thanks man saw this coming because of the deadline plus the nets were too quiet.

"Howard, Hedo Turkoglu and Chris Duhon to New Jersey for Brook Lopez, Jordan Farmar, New Jersey’s 2012 first-round pick and Golden State’s 2012 first-round pick. This is a strong offer that basically puts the Nets a step ahead of every team except one in the Howard sweepstakes — they can provide a good young center and give the Magic $25 million in cap relief.
:yes::yes::yes:

I thought Jersey was the best move since last year

Hope it doesn't go down for obvious reasons though

daldridgetnt David Aldridge
Magic contemplating filing tampering charges against two teams for illegal contact w/ Dwight Howard. Story up soon on NBA.com.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

He was in Moscow what you expected The Russian to do???

I'm getting word that Dwight is at the Magic camp confused as hell. Saying he didn't say any of this. Also, word is he fired his agent for pulling this bullshit.

drama... interesting.

Howard wants to be a cartoon.

He doesnt want to be the best basketball player.

Ya'll should be happy he aint going to your team.

You might be right. LoL

If I were Orlando, I would wait until the trading deadline to make this deal. The Nets wants Howard badly so this deal will be on the table throughout the season. The Nets will suck until they get Howard. Most likely Howard won't be able to turn them around for them to make the playoffs. Those 2 draft picks can be very valuable in 2012 draft. You got some serious ballers in that draft. You have 3 or more potential superstars in the 2012 draft.

We called!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I do find it weird how these events took place tho... Because in Orlando we got word Dwight had a long meeting with Otis Smith yesterday and said he'll give Orlando a chance this season to rebuild. Then the CP3 deal falls through and he request a trade to the Nets. Then in Orlando, I get word Howard is at camp confused and wants to fire his agent.

now I'm confused.

Man the agents be going out and doing there job. they want the most $$$ possible so they can get paid. Also since the Nets have the "most " to offer its easy to run rumors. they know if they get the ball rolling other teams are gonna call and try to get a piece of the action. If true or not, this is gonna be the story of the season. They gonna HAVE to trade him or lose him!

LOL@ people making up all these reasons..

Can we please kill the "Stern did it as commish not owner of the Hornets"...The owners "outrage" wouldn't have meant shit if the league didn't own the team. They have a say in the matter. He gave the "NBA" reasons as the official statement but it's clear that the real thing is the owners were not going to let a league owned team, serve up another dynasty. If "owner outrage" REALLY meant something........ The Lakers Gasol trade would have NEVER happened. League owners were furious when the Lakers got Pau. Stern could have cancelled that trade...but he didn't.....

And far as the Lakers being able to give cap relief because Odom is free agent...that's at the END of the year, the Nets relief is IMMEDIATE which means alot to a team who is rebuilding and will suffer financially because of it. Money you can save today is more appealing than money you can save tommorow.

Nah, I think they'd keep Deron. Don't really see why they'd trade for Paul. He's not much of an upgrade over Deron and honestly might be a slight downgrade in a lot of people's eyes considering many think he's better than Paul.

On another note, if Howard goes to the Nets the Mavericks are royally fucked!!! That would kill two birds w/ one stone. They'd lose out on Deron and Dwight on top of probably losing Chandler as well.

Exactly

But Cuban is waiting for these imaginary players that will be there in 2012

Is Butler playing this year? Maybe he waiting(Cuban) to pull off something?:dunno:

Can we stop this "Stern = God" foolishness please?? Stern can NOT... NOT kill deals that are within the guidelines and rules of the NBA .....REGARDLESS of how he feels... if he does that he will get fired as commissioner...

I'm getting word that Dwight is at the Magic camp confused as hell. Saying he didn't say any of this. Also, word is he fired his agent for pulling this bullshit.

damn... if tru killkaddfi901 gonna be like this

Then when Deron bounces he gonna be like
:suicide:

Like I said .....i don't deal with RUMORS and hearsay....

Exactly

Man, if this goes down Mavs fans are in for a looooooong ride of mediocrity after that championship run.

I wonder if this may force them to scramble to try and renegotiate and keep Chandler.

Is Butler playing this year? Maybe he waiting(Cuban) to pull off something?:dunno:

A lot of the sports talk around here is that they may let Butler, Chandler, and Barrea walk in order to go after Howard and/or Williams. That's why if he goes to the Nets it's going to be bad news for them.

This makes no sense, there are more moves to be made at the end of this year than now.

You keep running around with that Gasol trade talk

When you got Billups and Melo for Gallanari

Per the Twitter-verse, Howard may have met with Prohky and Billy King yesterday in Miami. That is tampering and if it is true, the Nets are done. Stern will come down on them like a ton of bricks.

Yep

Dwight fired his agent and his agent is snitching now.

Nets are about to get spanked
