OH SHIT DWIGHT HOWARD request Trade to the Nets!!!!!!!!!

i think he's going to the lakers... lakers will take jameer and turk send back bynum, odom, gasol multiple firsts ... the league just fucked over the lakers, they gonna help them out... plus its a better deal talent wise, lets not forget the magic are considering being up for sale too.

if u read gilberts letter the owners will be involved in trades now...they don't want anymore easy kwame brown gasol deals... essentially lopez and just 2 firsts for howard and turk is a kwame brown deal. nj won't wont even be over the cap so the small market teams won't benefit...

also reading more into the paul deal, stern rejected it b/c he doesn't want players to dictate where they go...dwight demanding the nets falls under the same reasons he rejected the paul trade. only way thias happens is if the nets allow themselves to be gutted and take back more salary. that fits the conditions set by the paul rejection.

i'm not saying this as a knicks fan but as someone who just read all this shit involving paul. if the lakers offer better talent he's going to the lakers nets will have to sweeten their offer nd be gutted to satisfy the small market owners. if the lakers let themselves be gutted the small market owners will approve. remember the nba rejected paul alsio b/c howard was coming to lakers.

its a new era for superstar trades. chris paul rejection shows that.
Man please. The Paul trade was rejected mainly because league owns the Hornets. Also Lakers would be saving money even though the trade is fair value. NO is not getting any cap relief. In the Dwight deal the Magic are getting cap relief and picks along with a guy that is young and damn near 20 and 10. Huge difference.

The Russian did all of this in two years.

if the nets don't amnesty outlaw then deal him to orlando in this deal

outlaw, farmar, petro, lopez and marrow for howard, turk

then the deal works under the cba

nets can't just send farmar and lopez...

watch when it goes down. Dude you fighting this hard huh???

What I been saying about Dec 9??? I been saying this since last week but okay I will post it.

ok.... :dunno:
Stern can't "kill" deals as he pleases...only deals he/owners have a say in are those that pertain to the Hornets...he tried to fuck the league over and it didn't work...I'm actually glad the league stepped in...don't get me wrong...I'm glad Dwight may end up in BK...I woulda been content tho if he chose to go elsewhere other than the Lakers...but him on the Lakes w/ CP3 that shit woulda been bad for the league and killed my interest in the sport esp. knowing that the Hornets was a league-owned team that woulda allowed Paul to the Lakes so easily which probably woulda enticed Howard to wanna sign there

c/s all of this....

dude read the nba statement. he killed the deal for "nba reasons" not "hornets reasons". he didn't define what "nba reasons" are either. under that stern can kill whatever he wants. its fucked up but hey i say let deals happen but stern changed the landscape.

So you are saying in the new CBA Stern now has veto power over any deal in the NBA???.... and this is only coming out only now?

I think he killed this deal because the small market teams started to complain.. "NBA Reasons" means it was a good deal for NO but not the NBA owners (of the hornets)...

Just heard this shit on local L.A. Radio that Gasols Agent is the one who rallied the owners got them up in arms to prevent the trade, because Pau did not want to go to Houston and have to play Center, and of course because he does not want to leave the Lakers......

man I have no clue this mufucka better have some shit up his sleeve or he is about to set us back for years

:smh:

Let's keep it real...we don't get FAs, we build through trades. I don't know what the fuck he's going to do. We're over the cap breaking bank on Marion, Kidd, & Haywood :smh:

Oh well he is a bitch and will still be traded

Remember how beatdown act on ol boy who was C's and Knick fan who talked a lot of shit. When the trade goes down. Expect that from me

NOW the Lakers will truly be fun to watch...there's gonna be so much tension on that team :roflmao2:

Another reason the Paul trade was denied is the team. It's LA. Howard to the Nets is creating a new power which is what the owners wanted.... New blood. The Nets would have given plenty talent and picks for their stars

exactly and the deal from an owners perspective makes sense

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

see people are saying why doesn't Orlando want to compete.

The Devos were only willing to spend money if Howard was there. No Howard means no national televised games, no endorsements, no commercials, etc etc etc.

The Devos just laid off 20 members of their staff and eliminated 12 positions yesterday money. They have said if Dwight leaves they are going in to cost cutting mode.

Which why the Nets leaked the deal. Imagine if the Nets call Otis. He doesn't like the deal and says he will wait for something better. The deal leaks and Devos hear and read about it.

All they see is this 47 million.

so you have the option of trading dwight and hedo and get contracts back you have to still pay.

dwight walks off for nothing

or the nets send you a young center who average 20 points hasn't missed a game and said this week would love to be in Orlando. 3 draft picks in a deep class one of them Houston the other Golden State. then we take back hedo meaning you can amnesty Arenas and there you go 47 million saved.

odom/kevin martin were fa's at end of the season that's cap relief and they weren't getting gasol so no cap hit for him. lakers woulda saved b/c they gave up their expirings...but hornets woulda saved too league didn't say "we rejected b/c we own the hornets" stern worded it to keep any of that out.

the hornets deal was better than the nets offer for dwight.

it's hilarious last season lopez regressed now he's 20 and 10? ( he was a 20 and 7 actually)

if the lakers offer odom, gasol, bynum vs lopez not only do they save orlando more b/c they can also take nelson with turk they give orlando more talent to make moves with. plus odom and bynum are expirings now and gasol would become an expiring at the end of season for next yr. leaving the magic with just gasol on their cap and he is easily moveable.

now are u seriously gonna tell me the nets deal is better?

again this ain't just oooh we save u money! its bout competitive balance which is bullshit but it was just used a few hours ago on a better trade than this one. the league can't say no to paul then turn around and say yes to howard when the situations are exactly the same. yes i know the nba owns the hornets but they officially did not cite ownership as to why they killed the deal.

i personally think its bullshit the league stopped the deal if teams wanna deal i say go for it but shit's changed now in the nba.

This could be a STEAL for Orlando too... This draft coming up is gonna be some shit... There's some REAL talent coming out...

dude, stern has veto power for anything he wants. every commish does. i'm saying stern can veto anything and not explain it. "nba reasons" doesn't say shit... but he used it.

plus owners who spoke to stern said he killed it b/c "he does not want to set the standard where player UNDER contract can dictate where they get traded too"

what did dwight just do?

demand the nets aka dictate where he will go while under contract to the magic

if dwight was a FA it don't matter but stern is not cool with players dictating where they go in trades while under contract.

remember the owners wanted to include a melo clause in the new cba to stop player dictation they didn't get it so now stern will enforce it using his commish powers.

Didn't Kobe snitch on Gasol to his fiance? I would've thought Gasol would've been ready to hop on the hottest thing smokin' out of LA.

stop it creed you not making sense again.

You said that Dwight would rather go to clippers than nets.

Stern killed the deal because the lakers gave up no picks and saved 40 million dollars.

in this deal Orlando has the advantage and what you failed to understand. the same owners who pressure stern to do this would not fight this deal because

1 it makes sense
2 orlando gets out great in this
3 saves money

most important it shows that a team like the Nets. The so called clippers of the East were able to lure to free agents to their team.

not the lakers not boston not the knicks the nets. a team in two years that has won 36 games has a superstar saying I want to go there instead of the Lakers.

:lol::lol::lol: stop it creed you fighting this too hard

... AND the Nets HAVE AN OWNER... unlike New Orleans... So Stern can't interfere with their business... like he can with the Hornets... SHIT... KNOWING HIM... He's probably the one who told the Hornets GM how a CP3 deal could work... That's probably the reason their GM is PISSED OFF.
