LOL..dude I like P2. It just didn't hold up the way I thought it did after watching it again. I had it at #2 behind the OG movie, which most people generally agree. You the outlier with it not being the best. But after seeing Prey and P2 back2back I moved Prey ahead of it. And P2 was over the top action. Not saying that was a bad thing. It fit the style of movie for that time. Glover hopping in car and driving in the middle of a gun fight between come Colombians and Mexican with machine guns? Then getting out ready to charge ahead of the SWAT team into a building filled with machine gun toting, coke snorting Colombian drug dealers. And all he has was a damn handgun? The shit was over the top man. But in good way..shit was just comical when you look back on it. And yes..P1 had some crazy shit too. Like Dillion getting his arm blasted of and then grabbing a gun with his remaining arm.
Bruh how did miss the whole brother and sister team up in Prey. He was the strength and she was the strategist. It's literally the entire plot!
They even went so far as to make him a war chief and her a medicine woman to drive home the point that they have different capabilities and are complimentary figures to one another.
I thought it was buffalo being skinned to use for trade but she put the helmet and used his target projector so when he goes it went from the helmet(which is stupid because he can shoot without using the helmet)

The French were skinning the bisons. Remember they found a cigar by one of the carcasses.
They wasted all of that meat just to obtain the skin.
Remember, the Indians would use every part of a bison. So they were showing how wasteful and callous white men could be.
It was Buffalo..I guess you don’t know the history of European finding out that native Americans fave food source and usage for other things was Buffalo and how they slaughtered them thinking they taking away their food source/other usage.. also euros used Buffalo fur for things like coats and trading.. that was the European doing not the predator.. they wanted you to think that at first than later on she said so it was you that killed the Buffalo to one of the French dudes

Tell them bills you like the original training day which is predator 2.. in this movie the Alonzo character wins aka Danny glover and the new rookie on the scene dies aka the predator.. Danny was like my nigga b4 he sawed His arm off.. GARY BUSEY screamed you ever had your shit pushed in to the predator in the freezer.. rookie predator just came through for a bite to eat and maybe a card game or two and busey and the boys fucked it up.. somebody should of told the rookie predator danny just wears a badge he really working with the Jamaicans making back alley deals..he don’t want this town clean he just want in on all the profits.. King Kong ain’t got nothing on Danny glover..predator trying to clean up the city and Danny like riding dirty

Very well done prequel, this is how you do a reboot and it worked without Arnold.
A theatrical release may have been too risky with an unknown cast and odd setting but I'm glad Disney played with the formula and hit a home run. I agree the efx did need more polishing but they were not too distracting. Acting was solid and even though the movie started off slow it took off and never looked back. Also, no matter how bad or good a Predator movie is they always give the big guy some cool gadgets.
Four stars (****) from the kid. Sidenote, this is the ugliest Predator ever created.

The Predator wasn't at full strength (can't lift a bear with one arm and wounded) when she fought him. The colonialist and then her brother already did a number on him earlier. She dodged most of his blows with her agility and struck him with some FATAL blows, weakening him further. Some of y'all keep bringing up her height. Height meant nothing at that point. She gambled on the shield not being able to cut through rock as fast and won that gamble.
Overall, once focused, she out maneuvered the fuck out of the Predator in combat and strategy.

The point is she survived every attack that killed EVERYONE else in the movie again it's all about who writes the movie sometimes Batman wins sometimes Superman
By the time the Predator got to her side of the gauntlet, it was a Superman weakened by Kryptonite if you're bringing DC comics analogy into this

i feel you but bro she got her leg caught in a bear trap and still was whooping its butt.she didnt limp or say anything else about it for the rest of the movie..those things cut to the bone but no her lol she had good writers that day.
