Shawn Michaels puts on a better show losing than Cena could ever do winning...Michaels is the SHOWSTOPPER for real.

The tag title match was a "dark match", meaning that it came on before the actual show started.
There was never any plan to have it on TV.

I'm aware of dark matches, this was not scheduled as one in the beginning. They've given them a lot of time on two of their three shows and WM was supposed to be the payoff. When was the last time a dark match was given build up?
It wasn't announced as a dark match until the last minute, on-line of all places. It was moved for time reasons, another fault of WWE creative and production.

maybe Flair...but the way we were saying it is who makes it the most fun.....people hate Jericho....but he's no heel like the Rock...damn...for some reason that made me think of when Jericho made his first appearence on wwe....the rock owned him

I get your point and Rock is an all time great as far as being entertaining goes. But people hate Jericho enough to fight him in parking lots, real old school heat. Now that they've trashed Orton and jobbed Edge, Jericho is the best heel in the company, easily.

And somehow porn is more mature.:D
These "grown men don't..." guys kill me.:D
whatever dude you don't gotta get defensive about it yo, i used to watch wrestling back when i was a kid but i stopped watching regularly years ago, i wasn't trying to talk shit

your argument about porn is wack cuz porn is for adults

Didn't you see the :Ds? I'm not defensive at all and I didn't take it as "shit-talking". I figured you used to watch when you used the word "still".

Porn is for adults but it's not really "adult". I love it but it is what it is: juvenile, misogynistic, and most of all...fun:D

post WM Raw is on now... Orton and Vince are the main even tonight...

six-man tag set up for Backlash PPV-- Legacy & Randy Orton vs. the McMahons & Triple HHH

Rock was a great heel but he was far from the greatest and because of the reason you pointed out. A heel's job is to make the people boo him. Flair could do it, Jericho can do it.

Man you crazy, the Rock got boos. And Flair hasn't gotten boos in about 15 years. Once you reach a certain level, you don't get booed. Only Hogan, Rock, Austin, Taker, HBK, Bret, Sting, and Flair have reached that level. Jericho has not.

The shittiest possible main event.

But they are giving us a rematch for the tag titles (even down to the lumberjacks). Plus Steamboat wrestles tonight:D.

Why don't people like you just stop? Entertainment is for all ages. So because you're now "grown" you can't have a fucking imagination anymore? By that logic you must never watch any movies or TV shows because that shit is all fantasy and unrealistic as well.

I'm not saying he has, yet. But he's the best there is now and, if they book him right he'll go from a great to an all time great like the ones you mentioned.

Hell yeah Rock got boos, especially when he joined the Corporation but he didn't stay heel long enough to rank with the truly great heels imo.

muthafuckas know the shit fake so im not gonna rain on yalls parade

I went to Wrestlemania last night and other than the HBK-Taker match, all the matches were kind of boring.
The crowd was sitting on its hands and there was just little overall excitement in the building.
That last match, HHH and Randy Orton, was a snooze fest.
A lot of people were already heading for the exits during the match.
I'm still glad I went though.
Wrestlemania is one of those events I can scratch off my list of events to attend in my lifetime.

All the reports that I've read (including a backstage report) all said that people were VERY disappointed in the Orton/HHH match. They are trying to figure out if it's because of the Michaels/UT match or if the match just sucked.

^ a combination of both. That Taker/HBK match will go down as one of the greats and it was just tough for ANYONE to follow.

Hollywood Rock >>>>>>>> any other heel in history

It sucked. UT/Michaels was over a hour before their match and the Cena/Show/Edge match was better received and it came on much closer to Taker/Shawn.

Oh, I agree. They built the match up and killed Orton in 15 minutes. Not to mention the match itself wasn't good.

Leroy
You know better than that. History? Really? For a guy who didn't wrestle full time for even ten years?

I gotta go to bed but LD you crack me up.

That period of Hollywood Rock was some of the best heel work I've ever seen. Considering it was the Rock, who was the biggest face ever, and he was actively able to get the crowd to boo him was nothing short of greatness. It certainly was a small few months, but the mic work was untouched.

I just came in here to say:

Trish when she first came to WWF/WWE & Layla El >>>>>> Better than every chick in the WWE today.

It was great work but the fact that it was only a few months is a strike against any claim that he's the greatest heel. The greats can make it stick. The same NC people who were charging Nikita Koloff in 86 to save Ric Flair where charging Ric Flair to save Jimmy Garvin in 87. That's real heel heat. I keep referencing Flair because he's the best I've ever seen do both extended face and heel runs and be successful.

Bleh. Flair got old as sin after months. Same matches, to a tee, same promos, to a tee. The Rock had his catchphrases but every promo was different. The Rock didn't even need to wrestle, he could just promo and entertain the crowd. Hollywood Rock is the best heel I've ever seen.

Put it to you like this; you're on an island and you get a 6 DVD anthology of any wrestler's highlights, everybody smart is picking the Rock.

I went to Wrestlemania 24 and it was the same thing. The triple threat with Orton, Cena, and HHH as well as the match between the Undertaker and Edge paled in comparison to the match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair (his retirement match). Either they mean to do it that way, or the common denominator (Shawn Michaels) is just a badass mothafucka that steals the show every time he wrestles.

Of course it's fresh and new when it's only around for 4-5 years. Flair was old to you but since his appearances still drew ratings for Nitro and Raw, you're not speaking for the masses.

I have Rock and Flair's DVDs, Flair's is better and there are like 6 of those.

Cena had been shooting subliminals at the Rock for a minute. Here in an ivertview, he comes out and challenges him:

John Cena Challenges The Rock To Get Back In The Ring

'He's the guy I say I won't be like,' the '12 Rounds' star says of Dwayne Johnson.

By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

With Dwayne Johnson's nearly seamless transition from professional wrestler to Hollywood heavyweight, you'd think any other wrestler/actor would want to follow in his footsteps. But John Cena — who stars in "12 Rounds," opening Friday — doesn't see it like that.

"He's the guy I say I won't be like," he told MTV News. " 'Cause he — although a very, very successful actor and super-nice guy, consummate professional, one of the hardest-working guys I've ever met — he left the WWE."

One thing that bothers Cena is the way Johnson discarded his wrestling nickname, the Rock, for his acting career. "I really hope that people respond to '12 Rounds,' the movie is a success, and more movies come down the line, [but] I'm just not for leaving the WWE," Cena said. "I love my job. I have a long-term commitment. That's the one difference in my future career path and what he's done."

He thinks the WWE fans might be a little put off by Johnson as well. "We have a very loyal fanbase," Cena said. "For him to go on the front and say, 'I love the business,' and then not be a part of it [is something I'd never do]."

Cena is giving Johnson the perfect way to redeem himself. "I've been trying to wrestle him. It's not that I don't think he'll accept the challenge; he truly has a full plate," he said. "I think our fans would like to see him come back to the ring. Dwayne Johnson or the Rock or whatever he wants call himself vs. John Cena. Let's say 'WrestleMania XXVI.' "

the Rock responds at the end of this vid:

I own both as well. Although The Rock is my 2nd fave wrestler (only behind Bret Hart) this is absolutely true to any sane person...

Flair's DVD >>>>>>> The Rock's DVD

And, if we lived in a dream world where WE picked what would go on both of those DVD sets, shit...

Flair's DREAM DVD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Rock's DREAM DVD

It's not really fair, since Flair has been around for so much longer than the Rock, but his body of work is just so immense that a DVD set of their highlights THAT WE COULD SELECT would be so uneven a comparison.

Okay John Cena is reaching because A. His movies suck while Rock has a few good ones under his belt. B. Vince McMahon decided not to renew Rock's contract and that's why he retired quietly. C. More than likely he doesn't use the "Rock" name for his movies is because Vince owns the name. Chrisitan 4 the time he was in TNA had to add "Cage" to his name because Vince owned the single name. D. Rock gets like 5 and a half mil a flick, why the fuck would I keep wrestling risking my life night in night out for maybe a mil or 2 a year when I can do half the physical work on 2 flicks a year and make 11 million dollars... Cena just mad his movies don't do shit cause they suck. Plus I heard he likes fishsticks................

Plus I heard he likes fishsticks................

LMBAO..nah, he was banging Mickie James for awhile. He talks about it every once in awhile in interviews. She had dude whipped.

 Flair said that in his prime he wrestled 370-380 days a year. Plus during his NWA days he wrestled around the world, while the Rock would only wrestle WWE wrestlers. You could pretty much make a tape of quality Flair matches from a different country.

"Christian Cage" was his original name before he went to WWE. I would think he owned that so he doesn't end up fucked like the The Dudley Boys.

Rock was priceless in his response to John Cena. How are you going to work a worker? Cena and Vince (he wouldn't do it if Vince didn't want him to) need to stop.
