Good lawd. I'm trying to justify this. If I sell my pixel 6 pro for like $800 (with 4 cases), that's more than half right there. A little discount thru the job, that's about 20% off. I don't plan to buy another phone for another 3 years. Fuck it, I'm in.

Wh you giving up the pixel 6 pro bro? I'm still on this 11 max...

Was debating giving iphone another shot but after I thought about it, I'm gonna end up missing the features the Galaxy brings to the table. Last iphone I tried was the XR and I was dying to have my Galaxy back after two weeks. Way too many limitations and complications.

True but it does the basics well, I don't care for mines especially the screen which I think is bland but it does the fundamentals well, typing, calling and light browsing but Iphone is really overpriced.

I do want to try the Galaxy Watch 4 and a android again, last android I had was the small note 10 which was terrible.

I don't care for the 20x9 aspect ratio to be honest, makes typing a bit hard.

I like the s21 ultra alot but I don't want to sell and rebuy again.

People are too cheap these days...

Too buggy. I don't like the UI. Other than the camera, i really am not that impressed with anything else about the phone. And i want to be in the samsung ecosystem. I already have a Tab S7+, so i want that cohesiveness. Pixel doesn't offer that with any device at all. I can't link my Pixel to my tab. I can link my Pixel to my chromebook, but its still limited on what i can do. To me, Google is not really offering anything that no other phone doesn't already have. Yeah, they have some exclusive features, but nothing i can't live without.

Well said I heard about the bugs on the phone, not too good but Google is known for this by now.

Also you should have a better screen by far, much brighter.

Good move, good luck.

Just upgraded from note 10+ to S21 ultra. I'm good, besides there are no major changes with the 22

Tab S8 specs leak

Galaxy Tab S8 mega leak reveals everything plus new high-quality renders

By Mihai M.

Last updated: February 7th, 2022 at 21:38 UTC+01:00

Well, if there was anything else left to leak about the Galaxy Tab S8 series, that’s no longer the case. An official full press release has now crawled its way up to the surface ahead of Galaxy Unpacked 2022, along with dozens of new press renders in high quality. So, let’s jump right into it.
According to the leaked press release, the Galaxy Tab S8 series has the following hardware specifications:
The Galaxy Tab S8 is equipped with an 11-inch LPTS TFT display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It conceals 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of expandable storage. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ features a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has the same memory configuration as the base model.
Finally, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra features a 14.6-inch 2960 x 1848 display with 120Hz capabilities. It’s equipped with 8/12/16GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of built-in storage expandable by up to 1TB via microSD.
The Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra variants have an in-display fingerprint sensor, whereas the base model carries this biometric authentication component inside the power button.

All four Galaxy Tab S8 models support 45W super-fast charging
Aside from their size, dimensions, selfie cameras, fingerprint sensor location, and battery capacities, these new Samsung tablets are essentially the same. They all feature a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, S Pen, and the same powerful software suite.
They also support 45W super-fast charging, though their battery capacities differ. The base Galaxy Tab S8 model has an 8,000mAh unit. The Galaxy Tab S8+ features a 10,090mAH battery, and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is equipped with an 11,200mAh unit.
New powerful productivity tools are coming to the Galaxy Tab S8 series
Hardware aside, the software suite is what makes or breaks a productivity tablet, and thankfully, Samsung appears to be planning big things for the Galaxy Tab S8 series.
According to the leaked press release, the Galaxy Tab S8 will be the first Samsung tablet to feature the powerful video editing tool called LumaFusion. It’s coming to Android, and Samsung’s upcoming tablets will seemingly be the first to enjoy it.
In addition, Samsung is making it possible for Clip Studio Paint users to connect their Galaxy smartphones and Tab S8 tablets and turn the smaller-screen device into a toolset for the S Pen. This can be very useful for artists that may want to use the entirety of the Tab S8 screen as a digital canvas without UI elements standing in their way.

Oh, and, did you know? Samsung is working on providing four major Android OS updates for the Galaxy Tab S8 series (and a few other devices) moving forward.
The strongest Galaxy Tab S tablet series yet!
Samsung will present the Galaxy Tab S8 series as the strongest yet. For this new generation of tablets, the company used the same armor aluminum solution as it did for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3.
In the leaked press release, the company claims that the new armor aluminum construction makes the Galaxy Tab S8 series 40% less prone to bending than the Galaxy Tab S7. In addition, the aluminum frame is 30% less likely to get scratched than the material used previously.

Shit, just learned it's only gonna be a $100 different between the 256GB and 512GB versions. 512GB it is then. That's the $1499 one. So how much is the 1TB going for?

Idk man....the battery life on my S21 Ultra is terrible! Idk if it's 5G draining it or what, but its bad.

My S21 Ultra gets through the day just fine, I charge it once a day, every night. In the event that I don't have it charged, it's usually dying a little over the 24hr mark I'd say from my experience.

Really? My S21 ultra goes all day without needing a charge. And I am on it constantly for work. Emails, calls, zoom, charting, image rendering, etc.

You may want to get it checked out.

Can pre-order as of now from any major retailer.

I haven't seen a 1TB option yet, trying to hold out.

512GB is $1,299.99

Dude, fuck a cloud. These cats want all of your shit. Going to fuck around and make a case with a sd card slot built into it somehow

Hummm you can use a flat 90 degree c type cable and a small SD reader. That cable will fit in any phonecase with the phone. I have tablets mounted on my walls as smarthubs and they come with those cables to mount the tablets flush against the wall mounts.

WTF can't order chit!

Comes up to $647 with $250 credit on the app to buy stuff, getting the buds, flip case and 45W charger.
Trading in my Note 20 Ultra 5G for $600 credit.

But shopping cart times out on the app and the desktop. So assume everyone hitting the purchase, bogging them down?

Currently, Samsung A52. It has a headphone jack and an SD card slot. I had to leave the Note series behind when their so-called "premium" phones abandoned those things. My carrier forced an upgrade as well on some of us migrating from Sprint.

Agreed!! I had a note 3... I didn't need n e thing else..plus I had extra batteries so when it died out swap for a fresh one... but this 5g shit forced an upgrade..they didn't have those a52's when was shopping, so I got an a71...important part was having an SD slot...
