****Official OKC vs Grizzlies 2nd Round Series thread****

you think the new cba will allow that?

i'm not doing that fantasy GM thing, i'm saying i love how those 2 compete. seeing them both on the same team would be a basketball joy.

they can have the dwight howards, the amare stoudemires, the carmelo anthonys. give me chris paul and kevin durant together. i would pay to watch them play together.

thing is chris paul is traded and the new extension he signs will be under the new cba. The Thunder have built their team in preparation of a hard cap.

NBA.com did an interview with their GM back in March and he said he spoke with a couple owners and said he was trying to see where they were in regards of the CBA and as we known the players always lose. So he prepared as best as he could. not offering Jeff any type of extension. smart trades and drafting

This was a great game and I have to get up early tomorrow but could not stop watching. This year is one of the best years for great playoff games for the NBA. I can't remember the last time multiple series of NBA playoffs have been this good. With the Lakers out (yesss) it's like a more level playing field for everyone. Looking forward to the next games.

Chris Paul with a shooter like Durant would be crazy.

We just got a peek at the behind the scenes dealings of this team. That team knows Westbrook is a fucking detriment to the teams overall success. They just showed Durant talking to Mo Cheeks about how he needs the fucking ball and Scotty Brooks just gave a long winded bullshit attempt at defending Westbury's ballhog antics.

I think this is what's best for the NBA. People say the best ball was played in the 80's with Bird and Magic. I don't know, I wasn't born but I would've definitely been done with the NBA after watching basically the same two teams year after year. That shit is lame to me. Hearing the words, "There will be a new champ in the NBA" damn near brought tears to my eyes.:smh::lol:

Barkley & Kenny Smith just said the SAME THING after the game.

Smith said... (sic) "Scott Brooks has to address him team with the fact that Durant does not even get a shot for 9 WHOLE minutes, at the end of a TRIPLE overtime game. Something is wrong with that picture." :smh:

Sometimes I hate my job. I have not seen 1 complete playoff game this year. Isaw about 45 seconds of this game when perkins missed the ff, then I had to hit the safety meetings. :smh::angry:

once the lockout is over let's see how long it takes for them to offer Westbrick an extension. I still put a package together to get CP3

Westbrook is the alpha dog. He's the number 1 option. It's time to just embrace that. He takes bad shots and he's a crummy passer, but he's the only one on this team with balls.

If Brooks and Durant don't take the alpha dog mantle from him, why should he give it up? Granted he's not good enough to be the no. 1 guy on a champion, but I can't fault him for having that mindset. It's the coach and Durant's job to put him in check and they don't. Durant is 2nd banana mentality.

They lighting SouljaBoy ass up on twitter for talking about the Grizz

Even Juicy J

"@therealjuicyj: @SouljaBoy bird chest meat eatin ass nigga"

Im willing to say its just bad matchups against this team, but Perkins has not shown his worth to this team this series.

Absolutely loved how the Grizzlies huddled up in the middle of the court for a postgame "pep talk". Z-Bo hungry man. Gotta love it. Best series of the playoffs so far.

CO-SIGN!!!!!!

I'm not even a Memphis fan. :smh: Nor a Thunder fan. :smh: Just a Knick fan.

But This is RIDICULOUS.

Alls I Know is.... they better start hitting the 'easy' shots... or Memphis will get blown out...

by the refs.

The 'stripes' are calling some bullshit fouls today, man. :hmm:

- Silly 'Touch' Fouls (on Memphis) at halfcourt.
- Charging fouls (on Memphis) that should be Blocking fouls (on Thunder).
- Or No calls. When they SHOULD call 'over the back' (on Thunder).

So if Memphis doesn't start making their layups (and open jumpers), they will be going home with a 20+ point loss. :smh:
