Naw I can say that about some guys like Lebron and Kawhi but I ant' say that about KD. We don't know any of these people so all we can do is speculate. But on the surface....not no behind the scenes shit but on the surface KD has done some hoe shit. I initially didn't think none of it. Sixers took a gamble. Giving him that extension is their way of telling him (or coddling him), "you're our man", "we believe in you". Plus it saves them money IF he lives up to his potential. Ben has the potential to be either an all-time Top 25 or an overrated bust. Kidd came into the league unable to shoot, but eventually turned out to be a decent shooter. Bens only 22 y.o. Hopefully he'll grow to prove the naysayers wrong. I don't see how anyone who watches basketball doesn't see his potential. At the end of the day its all about what's going on between his ears. And nobody knows that answer except for Ben.

I think what might happen is they may give some of those guys bigger deal just to fill up the cap some. That's if they can't find someone to sign for the rest of that cap space.
Reports said if Magic stayed with the Lakers, Kawhi woulda been signed there. I think his camp feels more comfortable with a brother and the Raptors got that with Masai.
