Official NBA 2017-2018 Thread - Final day of the regular with playoff seating still unknown

Fam, George ran towards him and even veered to the right to clip Dinwiddie. Spencer's back was turned and he had no chance of even preparing for the contact. It was pretty obvious to me

He ran towards that Adams pick to post up on the line. Dude was just collateral damage. He didn't have leverage so he folded. Hit's him on his back shoulder. There was no force on PG's behalf. We'll just have to disagree here.

Everything you speak of is Paul creating the contact when a legal screen does the opposite and allows a player to run into the screen but hey... It's the Nets, we never get those calls.

So PG had the right of way?!?! C'mon man you can't be serious. That shit is a penalty in the NFL much less in the NBA. You can run into and knock down a defensive player like that chief... Home cooking right there.. :smh:

Holding your leverage while getting to where you need to go is a penalty in the NFL now? Whoa. Those pick plays are a different dynamic. Show me a pick play/ rub where a player gets hit in his back shoulder.

Thats actually gonna be the legacy of LeBrons last years unless he rides on Harden, or PG coat tails. A lot of hollow lil milestones, but from a team perspective, his years as a major player in the chip hunt might be over. It a damn shame to see such a great player who is sort of entering his past his prime years, going out every night and looking so helpless while his pathetic old ass team gets their asses kicked and beat the fuck down night after night... He deserves better than I.T. man... Damn shame :smh:
If he went to Houston they still wouldnt win...you think Harden giving up the ball to LBJ? that team would be horrible to watch....

But he's not setting a screen. Could be argued he was going for the double screen initially, but could also be argued he was going for his spot, under Adams. That Adams roughage has more credibility, than two players colliding. And no, you're not getting that call on the road down the stretch. If I would've saw extension, I would call it. But that isn't the case IMO. Again, we'll have to disagree. Adams was doing a lot on that play though. If they called that, I would understand.

I feel it was a screen designed as an accidental rub but fair enough, we can agree to disagree.

smart is always doing too much
you're not the guy that is supposed to be shooting those shots and you cost them a fucking l
lmao

man, i didn't even watch the game but I saw comments of people going off on him. he seemed to have a good shooting night for smart standards it shouldn't have been a close game anywhere they deserved to lose.

Just heard the Cavs have played the 3rd easiest schedule in the NBA to this point.... Damn :smh:
The issue I see is that Lebron dominates the ball which prevents the offense from running organically. They don’t need Lebron to be a dominant scorer anymore and more of a Draymond Green, who can push the ball up the court and anchor the defense.

The lack of ball movement is clearly visible.

Yep, and its a trainwreck, why? Now you add ball dominant IT to ball dominant LeBron and the team top to bottom is disjointed. That shit impacts the mental approach by the players which impacts both side of the ball. IY rumning around talking about Max money, acting like hes LeBron, Jr. calling meetings about Kevin Love and shit... Lil Bastard is a fucking cancer....

Nba lm2 (last two minute) report said that was a offensive foul on George and Dinwiddie got fouled on his layup so Nets got screwed again.

:crying:

Nobody in Atlanta goes to basketball games? I'm watching the Raptors vs Hawks game on tv. There are about 10 people in the crowd...

Isaiah Thomas who has been playing for two weeks attacking Kevin Love :hmm:

and they allowed that shit :smh:

They should have told him to sit his little ass down.

All I'll say is, Kyrie saw some shit in that locker room with specific individuals, and decided he needed to get the fuck out of there... No way if I'm a key player on that team am I gonna let a lil midget ass clown whose been playing LIKE SHIT MIND YOU, for two weeks to run shit and run his mouth like that, especially against a Dude who help us win a chip...

FUCK I.T.... Lil overrated one dimensional midget cancer bastard... Hope he fucks his hip up again, at least the Cavs can get back to winning...

Ben Simmons killing the Bulls right now!! Got an outside shot at a 20/20/20 game!! :eek2::eek2::eek2: Shady you see dis shit!! Fultz ain't playin but Ben is. :giggle:

As we both said... Homie tried to explain that shit but his explanation as to why it wasn't a foul on PG didn't make any damn sense... :smh:

I thought it was pretty blatant but everybody views things differently. Nets had so many calls go against us this season that shit didn't surprise me

Curious as to whether the vets(LBJ, JR, TT, etc.) even tried to shut that shit down that IT pulled. That's crazy that lil muthafucka came in there running his mouth about a dude who help the Cavs win a chip....:smh:

Man love fell last night crowder looked at him on the ground and didn't help him up
Nobody did.

I'm not gonna say kyrie saw something cause its a new locker room
But these new cats let rose leave for 2 months with no issue love got sick and they ready to burn him lol

Nah, Bruh, its the same locker room, they've just added a little asshole to it... Everybody talking about Fuck Kyrie, its amazing that all that fuck Kyrie shit, the Celtics locker room is cool, the Cavs team and locker room is dysfunctional as hell AGAIN... Happy for Kyrie to get out of the bullshit toxic ass situation...

I never felt like that I felt like he just didn't want to be a part of the limbo and he ended up in a way better situation. People want other folks to be more loyal to Lebron than he is to you. Kyrie just wasn't with that and I respect that. Doesn't mean he isn't thankful for the time he played with him.
Cavs are the ones who messed up. they traded for a guy that got sonned by the guy they traded lol. Kyrie owned him in the ECF put him out of commission and then you turn around and trade for him lol?

Man you ain't never lied! I laughed my ass off when the trade went down and Dudes were talking about IT and Kyrie were the same player!! LMAO!!!

Totally were not the same player. All last year I wasn't impressed with Thomas after watching them play. Little cat got to hold the ball seek out shots and reset until he got one he could score on
He do that shit with the cavs all the time now get too deep jump and then look for some help and it don't be there.
Plus people little bro'ing him now. I don't know how all of this stuff is going to end up so I ain't calling nothing nothing yet but Kyrie is better than Thomas that was clear every year prior to this year and this one too.

I think the big thing is they expected Crowder to be better than he is, but Boston pulled a Patriots move. They knew he was going down. He's not the defensive player he once was, plus his shooting has been bad even getting wide open threes.

from what I always heard, Kyrie was just an introvert and wasn't all in to that hanging out and shit like the rest of them were

Not to mention IT is one dimensional. He's not a good defender, he doesn't pass when he has the ball. He's just.....there.

This has been a bad year for players with so many having season ending injuries or out for months at a time rehabbing from an injury.

Yeah, Memphis finally said Conley was done for the year

He's been having achilles soreness for the second time. Is it even a way to strengthen it so it doesn't rupture?

Just out of curiosity:

Disabled Player Exception
What is Disabled Player Exception?
This exception allows a team to replace a player who has been injured and will be out the rest of the season or for the entire next season (if the injury occurs during the off-season). This exception may also be used in the tragic case of a player's death.

Sporting Charts explains Disabled Player Exception
The team's selected replacement player may be signed for a maximum salary of either 50% of the injured player's salary, or the mid-level exception for a non-luxury tax paying team, whichever is less. Since this exception is dependent on a player being seriously injured, it requires an NBA-assigned physician to verify the extent of the injury. An example of this exception in action is when the Portland Trailblazers used it to sign replacement players when number one draft pick Greg Oden went down with multiple knee injuries. The new Collective Bargaining Agreement allows a team to sign a replacement player for only one year, down from five years under the previous CBA.
