As he should... Hard being best player in every statistical category on your team for 15 years. I was talking about 4 years ago when he first came back to cleveland... His defense was still very good.

But bills, what are we going by? Is it record and best player on the best team or best player period, record be damned?
I'm simple. I like simple. MVP is MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. In my simple terms and simple thinking, the award should go to the player that is most valuable to his team's success. A player that, without him, his team's total wins would be severely impacted.
Both years in question, you can argue that James Harden was that player.
I'm not mad they won it over Harden...
I'm just saying, let's get a definitive way of picking the MVP and not have it essentially be a popularity contest.
Both Curry and Westbrook were valid MVP choices when they won. But you can't reward one based on one set of criteria then the other on another set.
Definitely not dismissing LB or even KD, but Harden is having a great season and his team has the best record in the league.
Curry put up dominant numbers and is the literal engine of which the team is built.
I agreed with you about last year, last year it should've been out of him and Lebron.
Curry got rewarded on the above reproach criteria. The things he did directly correlated with the teams success both those years.
And their success during the regular season which is what this award is for, the teams were #1 seed overall.
Now last year we agree. Harden or Lebron should've won.

That year the Warriors won 73 games he most definitely deserved that hardware. That was the 2015-16 season. It was the year BEFORE that where I think James Harden was fucked outta the MVP.
That year the Warriors won 67 games, Rockets 52. James had an unbelievable year and willed his team to 52 wins, averaging 28/7/6 to Curry's 23/8/4.
