Official NBA 2017-2018 Thread - Final day of the regular with playoff seating still unknown

I have seen a few incidents like that 2 Klove was coming to the bench for a timeout and everyone dapped him except JR I think he said "I don't wanna touch that hand" and he moved his hand away he didn't smile like he was joking either

2 weeks ago Jeff Green had two black eyes I think my guy got the paws put on him by another player because since then he been used heavily and playing better.

I respect loyalty and friendship in sports but Tristan needs to go he has declined terribly and refuses to develop any type of scoring capability, Anderson Varajeo runs circles around him.

JR is one of my favorites too but he is washed we can't wait for him to get his shot back and my man cant got to the rack like he used to in NY for shit.

Shupert was declining before he got hurt AGAIN he has to go, and Channing Frye is what he is not useful at least on this team.

If I'm the Cavs GM I might have to package Jae Crowder, IT, and Love and see what I can get back

This team would be playing much better,if the Pacers didn't reneged on the trade deal... I would rather keep Love than have IT on this team.

It's a shame they let Edy Tavares go.....I was hoping they would keep him..

K-Love and IT are ALL-STAR Talent players when happy and on point, but deep down I think IT doesn't really wanna play in Cleveland that much and is still but hurt about Boston shitting on him.

And Love when comfortable and at his best is almost hall of fame talented but he cant play D for shit and gets exposed every year why he doesn't play better D baffles me maybe he too soft. and I hear about the others players letting him know about it, sometimes the nigga look like he point shaving the way dudes blow by him

But I think you can get a nice return with an IT, Love package or IT, Tristan Jae Crowder package its fuck Lebron at this point, his excuse for leaving will be we didn't do enough to win or we just didn't have the talent to compete so its a double-edged sword for Cavs management

Oh no, I was saying it would HAVE to be IT or love and that kind of thing in order to get something good back
You cats were trading Mike Dunleavy for Kyle Korver and shit I'm saying that you not about to get a big target trading channing frye and shumpert lol

Damn LeBron said not even playing video games!!

...as far as Tyronn Lue goes... :giggle:

@jack walsh13 , our Sixers are looking real good right now. 5-1 in January, holding the 6th spot, only 3.5 games behind the Cavs , beaten the Celtics, Raptors, Pistons and Bucks this month, no slouch teams at all. AND we have played the toughest schedule in the league so far!! Trust the Process Bruh

Warriors cant beat the Rockets if cp3 and Harden outplay Steph and Klay like this. This is prolly the worst combined I seen them play. Rockets outrebounded them and outdefended them down the stretch. Win the season series 2-1.

Houston played better the entire game. Out hustled them by a wide margin and also the warriors had lazy careless stupid turnovers weren't dialed in and houston played a great game.

Houston really really really want to beat the warriors and they play like it every time they play warriors don't match their intensity, haven't at any point this season when they've played great win for houston they keep trying to make a statement and the warriors keep just going through the motions

Chris Paul puts pressure on the backcourt. Steph cant hide at the end of games like he could before when it was just Harden. Cp and Harden literally took turns putting him in iso situations the last 2 minutes of the game.

but also let's not rewrite history that just happened.

they went to iso steph 3 times
he ripped the shit out of chris paul
harden hit a 3
and then they missed the shot.
so let's not do THAT like not even 15 minutes after the game tho

.
great win for them and their confidence.

Steph mailed it in tonight with his play. Absolutely no energy the entire game, careless turnovers, not finishing at the rim a really horrible effort tonight on his part. Really cost them a winnable game when we didn't even play well
but that's hat's off to the rockets for bringing it when they play us and going for it.
great win for them and their confidence.

Saying Steph mailed it in is disrespectful to cp3. Steph having to actually play 1 on 1 defense affected his shot. Klay was off too having to guard Harden. That plays a huge part. This is the 1 team whos backcourt is BETTER than GS, so they cant take it light like most nights. As far as the last sequence, Steph ripping Cp was big but just the fact teams are looking to iso him in the clutch says alot. Bills Steph is an underrated team defender, but a horrible 1 on 1 defender.

Steph didn't mail it in Bruh, CP3 just outplayed his ass simply put. He got out played and straight owned. Shit happens...

I feel you but also I know what it looks like when my team is dialed in and when they are not. Me saying someone isn't dialed in isn't disrespectful to the other team its an observation on how he was playing. His effort. That's all. Nothing more nothing less.
And you think the rockets back court is better than GS? Alright that's fine that's your opinion it's all good.

Mailing it in has nothing to do with the rockets. I watch this team every night and I know when he is dialed in and when he's not. Has nothing to do with cp3 who played an excellent monster game and won this battle tonight going and away.

I don't really like how we can't have nuanced conversations lol. My observation isn't a slight on the rockets i said from my 1st post after the game they brought it and deserved the win which they did but i can also say steph isn't focused when he's dribbling it up the court with no pressure on him and dribbling the ball off his foot for a turnover those 2 things can exist at the same time.

great win for the rockets.

Yes the Rockets backcourt is a little better and has played better collectively this year. Part of that is Klay is a 3rd option now.

He had 20 assists because he had his son guarding him and Cavs had to help on every fucking play. Russ just passed to the open guy.

BGOL told me Cavs got the better of that trade tho.

So good brother, what is your honest grade for the Cavs in that trade, AND do you think they will be able to 'flip the switch' this season?
