lol @ all you drake defenders
It was funny but true.

Y'all got me here on some neo shit.

And y'all need to concede to these facts. If not, there's really nothing more to discuss with y'all. He can continue to make money, although I consider him a fraud at this point and I'm not cool with it. In respect to other artists.
Now, Drake has traveled the world, spread "hip hop" all over more than myself.
True. But he's been compensated for it. I can sit here and type but Drake has done more for hip hop as a spokesperson than myself. But he's not a true artist IMO.
if the man had never written a stitch of his own shit, maybe i'd be with you. or if he couldn't hold his own when challenged. Or if he hadn't come into the game ghostwriting for some of your favorite rappers.
I never said never. Just his cred is shot. Who knows who did what now? All along we're like who is this guy, some of us, he's alright, come to find out.

Is HE that nice? Apparently not.
And I have a gang of other real emcees that write their own material. New emcees. They can go to the URL events and feel conscious free. Drake can't.
but none of that is the case. it's really business as usual except to the people that view hip hop like that "it's still real to me dammit" nigga. those people are upset. but they would have been upset a long time ago if they really knew the deal.
I'm just upset at y'all trying to justify it. Actually, happy that he got exposed because I didn't really like him from the get. Something seemed off.
don't get me wrong, i respect the pen to the utmost. i just don't see it as some fatal error to collaborate with other artists, ghost or no.
Sure you don't. Another real artist currently active. No ghostwriters. Just an ode to the greats. Pen game is top notch.
