Wow....just wow.

I watched Bradley get his ass beat for 10 rounds,called his wife fat...and wake up to this:lol:

I guess this means Pac will be tied up the next 18 months with the rematch and the third fight.

After Pac beats Bradley in the second fight...they will have to have a third:smh:

Where are these guys whenever UFC has a controversial decision? People keep throwing dirt on boxing's grave while boxing keeps having million buy ppvs and highly rated fights.


I haven't seen the fight (no interest) but I'm slow to use the word "robbery". What we see on tv isn't what judges see sitting ringside and it wouldn't be out of bounds for Bradley to go in with the idea of "if the fight is close, Manny (Bob's favorite) is goingn to get the decision".

Either way, Tim Bradley just made himself a star and congratulations to him. I thought he was going to get knocked out and this is the second shocking conclusion (to me) in a month for boxing.
 
I am laughing at y'all. Timmy took the fight to him. This is almost the same thing as the 3rd Juan and Manny fight. I keep saying this. But you guys still play favorites and don't get it. You have to fight in the championship rounds, period. You just never know about score cards. Manny lost the same way he won against Juan. It is that simple.

Considering I see buk in the boxing threads and he displays a pretty broad knowledge of boxing (though he plays favorites like he says everyone else does), I'm giving this opinion more weight than guys who only watch the "big" fights.

Manny didn't look good in the 3rd JMM fight but that could be written off as him never looking good with Marquez but a second consecutive life and death fight with a guy he should clearly beat is a bad sign.
It looks like he should have taken Floyd's $40 million offer. He won't get anywhere near that again.

I need seven games for the Finals too. After basketball season ends, I go into a sports depression (not a baseball fan). Boxing and tennis are the only things that carry me through the summer. With all the big summer fights cancelled, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Taking the fight to another fighter doesn't mean shit if you aren't landing shit! So, all you have to do is come forward and throw punches and you win the fight :confused: GTFOH with that shit, Dude landed 11 punches per round :confused: I'm not tripping because I see what they (everyone involved) did here, but anyone who tries to justify in any way that Bradley honestly won that fight is a few sandwiches short of a picnic... :smh:

For real, plus, all this convert to MMA stuff, I'm cool on it, but nothing really excites me about MMA either! More often than not, the fight diminishes into two Dudes rolling around on the ground, throwing an occasional punch or kick, and I really don't have time for that shit either! All of this boxing is dead talk is hilarious... Paul Williams getting hurt really messed up the Spring/Summer schedule because that fight would have been dynamite as long as it lasted, and Froch tuning up Bute takes a lot of the tarnish off of any future Bute fights...

He definitely should... and even if a universal fix was in, these fools don't realize the downstream implications of this! Remember the hype when Tyson got out of prison!?!?! Floyd is gonna generate mad bread for his first fight out of jail, and I believe him going too jail contributed to the bread generated in the Cotto fight... And now, if Manny gets a 25% cut he will be lucky...

I hate to say it, but I am really starting to believe the accusations of Juicing against this Dude... He's gradually looked worse and worse in his post Cotto fights... That fall off cannot be naturally caused... :smh:

I like UFC but it's not going to replace boxing. They're already cooling off and they have some boring ass fights and bullshit decisions too.
Bute lost more than just that fight, he was definitely in line for some big money fights this year and next.

Anyone with a remotely noticeable level of common sense can see this was set up a while ago, but Bradley is a dumb fuck and let the cat out of the bag too soon, that's why there is absolutely no outrage at this point on my end... :smh:
 
The fact that so many BGOL dudes can't see what they did here is hilarious!! And the fact that most of you are using :lol: and :dance: constantly, really magnifies how slow you are, and what Arum and the crew was counting on... Illogical people..

Bottom line is, Manny/PBF had lost a lot of it's momentum, so controversy had to be created. I believe that might have worked with Marquez but he wouldn't bite, so he had to be moved from the equation. Bradley has NOTHING to lose! He keeps his 140 belt, wasn't expected to win, and now, he gets a MAJOR payday, and gets to go back to 140 with belt in tact and keep it moving.

Manny needed this controversy, because it was really getting boring watching him fight overmatched fighters, and winning decisions... so they had to shake shit up a little... Bradley can't punch, and is not much of a threat, so the ass whipping Manny will put on him in the rematch is really without too much risks, and creates this 'He back whipping peoples ass' impression of him, just in time to trump up interest in a PBF fight...

Bradley all but gave the scenario away, by promoting a date and time for the rematch BEFORE the fight even took place.... I'd never rob a bank with his ass!!! :lol:

I just saw this poster on ESPN again and looked at the whole thing. Notice the bottom of it. It's a bit cut off, but it says tickets for the rematch go on sale 6/10/12, that's today. This shit was a set up from the beginning.

Bob Arum doesn't need to come up with grand schemes, he promotes both guys so he wins either way. But he defintiely was an asshole for undercutting Bradley's win with what he said Bradley told him before the decision. True or not, you don't do that to your own fighter.
