I knew something was off while listening to his cornermen. It's one thing to tell your fighter in the earlier rounds that they are still in the fight, even winning the fight, but another when the fight is nearly a shutout and its the 11-12th rounds and you're telling him that he is about to make history.

thats common all champs or bigger name fighters have rematch clauses in the contracts so that they have the option for revenge or to get their titles back before anyone else.
Theres no controversy here. I hate Bob Arum's antics in this sport just as much as the next man but this is just a case of Manny getting too comfortable mixed in with what could be called questionable judging. Although even the judge who had Manny winning had it close so maybe that says something.

There is a possibility of this happening. When u hyped up on adrenaline u could not really feel the pain in the moment, but be kicking your ass afterwards. There are cases of that very scenario happening. Now I'm not going so far as to say that this is not being hyped as more than it is, but the possibility is there. It looks like a simple sprain to me.

Fourth: the made sure Mayweather could leave the sport so they can get the showboating niggaz out. The sport liked Mayweathers' numbers, not him as a person and didn't want him to earn the biggest payday in boxing right after prison.
Five: They knew boxing was dead if May and Pac fought, now thats pretty much dead, so they can take boxing back to being competitive with the two most overpaid and dominant fighters in the game gone for a while.

I know my shit about boxing..I got OG knowledge...there is no fucking way that tim bradley in any reasonable state of mind won this gotdamned fight
All about money and suspense... At this point, Manny has no where else to go, Floyd getting locked up fucked his options up, and even though it's only 3 months, that's a lot of time to lose the publics interest. Bradley was expected to be more competitive, to make the 'upset' more believable, but he laid an egg and there was no turning back on the fix. Manny has lost before so it's not like they stole is '0' or anything, but ultimately, this was about dollars. Now, the interest in the rematch will be about seeing if Manny can knock him out... so there will be some sense of suspense.
Also, Manny is broke, so he needs a few paydays before he bounces... After the rematch, he will either fight Floyd, which I doubt, or just retire with the 'nothing left to proove' BS.
And all you watch the fight with the volume down Dudes, Please, that bullshit doesn't apply in this case... Helen Keller would be able to tell Bradley didn't come close to winning this fight... so if you don't like Manny cool, just admit it!!! But don't insult peoples intelligence with the you watched it on mute and the fight looked a lot different!!! If it did to you, I also have some ocean front property in Iowa to sell you...
