Bynum has been killn the Celtics, scoring at will and blocking shots. He has been a major factor in this series and it seems to me the longer this series go that is not good for the Laker because that knee is seriously bothering Bynum.
Yeah man...him and Gasol quietly set a finals record for blocks in game 2... plus, when he is effective, it takes A LOT of pressure off of Gasol....
Depending on the severity of the injury i say he should play tonight. 20 minutes at least. That's enough to cause a matchup problem, draw some fouls. It's important for LA to win this game, and if they go up 3-1 bynum should sit game 5 and rest for game 6.
If boston plays strong and takes a good lead I can see phil keeping bynum out. But it's not good to try to win this game without him.

I dont even feel as though if LA were to lose this game there would be any pressure on them for Game 5. They secured (the right to defend) their championship on Tuesday by winning one in Boston and guranteeing them going back to LA. I am a Lakers fan and I only expected them to win one game in Boston. Winning another (two) game(s) would be a plesant surprise.

I would be VERY quick with the hook for Bynum in BOTH of the next two games. A home-stand defense in LA would be THE most important thing on my mind, and I would want Bynum healthy as can be for that.
That being said, I would play him in both games, if for nothing more than to keep his knee from getting stiff and swole. 25 mins MAX.
