*********Official Lakers vs. Celtics NBA Finals Thread********

True.

Only cause its the pre-96 Bulls we would be talking about (BJ Armstrong, Cartwright, Perdue....).

The 72-10 Bulls would have demolished Hakeem and Co.

Matter o fact imo the only team assembled that beats the 96 Bulls is the first (and maybe 2nd) Olympic Dream Team.

You said only the dream team?

:smh:@bgol...the home of posting pics, talking shit and catching your period over another mans opinion.

I stand by my statement regardless of its popularity. Via Sports Channel I was able to watch every game that year and those Bulls had perfect chemistry. 4 or 5 of the rare losses were by 1 or 2 points or at the end of the year when they let off the gas.

One could prolly make a fair argument to say they werent THE greatest team....but to sound like they dont even belong in the discussion is just :hmm:.

The matchup I would pay to see is '96 Bulls Vs. '87 Lakers.

Might have been spoken already but Derek Fisher was killing Rondo's ass in that fourth quarter!!!

yo.. I think that is why Fish was almost crying after the game shit... Laker fans are always talking about trading him or benching him and dude ALWAYS comes up big when they need... i mean damn...it is not like we need to go back years.... the mofo hit big shots in the finals just last year or even in the playoff run.... did again last night and dude was emotional as well ... like why yall keep shitting on me :lol:

Exactly. Dunno why clowns are laughing at dude for getting emotional. That's someone who truly loves the game. You can't buy that kind of passion. Players like those give you 100% every single game and the kind of people you need in a team. Even Kobe said it in the press-conference.

There you go.

People wanna say Fisher is too old and can't keep up with the D.Will's, the Rondo's, the Steve Nash's, etc., but yesterday's game pretty much shut up everybody criticizing him.

And this is what I have to say about Lakers fans wanting Fisher to be benched or traded. Y'all should know how die-hard Lakers fans can be. When Fisher played a great game, they say how he should be in the HOF and how clutch he is. When Fisher has a bad game, they want him traded or to play Shannon Brown instead because he can't keep up or sucks making layups (which he does from time to time, don't lie and say he doesn't, especially if you watched him play all 2009-2010 season). It may seem dumb or weird, but it is what it is. And it's not just how they treat Fisher, that's how they criticize all the Lakers players.

What about the team whose single season record they broke?

why do people keep falling for the bait by shaddyvillethug LOL! yall havent figured it out yet that he isnt serious...

So word is that Bynum is not going to play tonight. :smh:

2-2

You are right if Bynum doesnt play. People always blow me off when I say that Bynum is the key to the series (for the lakers to win duh). Gason can match Garnett post for post, point for point, but the Lakers need Bynum just to take some of the beating and double teams off of Gasol. Bynum dont need to be the man like Gasol with 20/10 every night, he just needs to be there to help control the paint, keep the Celtics honest in the half-court (by not doubling Gasol) being there for the tips, putbacks and dunks when they DO double Gasol and just absorb some of the brusing and fouls from the Celitcs bench.

If he is done for the series, the Lakers are in trouble.:smh:

You smacked, or got bad intel, or are just plain wrong.

Bynum say his need is even BETTER.
Dont go scaring me like that again fool.

that was yesterday
it was on the radio this morning he might not play.

It's probably Phil's mind games though

http://lakersblog.latimes.com/laker...eriences-swelling-might-not-play-tonight.html

Lakers center Andrew Bynum is experiencing swelling in his right knee and might not play Thursday night, Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said.
Will he play in Game 4 of the NBA finals?
"I'm not positive about that," Jackson said. "He had a little bit of a struggle this morning. He's going to try it."
