he gave em the vest and more importantly the credit to use and throw thhe marshalls off his scent. told the kids to deliver the vest and for the favor they could use his card. Hoping the man hunt would think he was on his way to Orlando.

Boom

Why did he give those kids the vest ?

I was about to say the same thing. It would have worked with dumber Marshals. The vest wasn't important, but a reason that seemed feasible. The money and the cards were extra ammo for the kids. I thought he was going to kill them and take the car.

Art just walking around the office ...bored with retirement already ?
Man, we all say we hate work and just want to sit on our asses and watch TV and shit, but that would be cool for 2-3 weeks - maybe 4 then we would go stircrazy.

Ava has been shook all of this season

This show misses Winona, that may have been the most touching thing I've heard a woman say to a man in a while

That baby gave no fuck ....

Why did he give those kids the vest ?

Boyd really likes pork !

you think some gun shots gonna stop Art?

Funny thing is we are seeing he is MUCH like Raylan in a way...

love the parallels

notice his lyrical confrontation with Markham was MUCH like Boyd/Raylan...

Art been thinking about (obsessed) this case for YEARS much like Raylen with Boyd.

What A fucking Episode!!!!!

The Raylin in Arlo shed scene was creepy as shit.

Boyd: Raylin Givens!!
Raylin: Look at you hoping around like MR. Hospitality. Must be hiding something good.

Boyd: Arms aloft in a welcoming stance not I.
Raylin: Clearly something good is going on inside.
Boyd: You do have the tendency to interlope in moments of high drama, But This aint one of those moments.

Raylin: Do you even know when youre lying anymore, or is it just like Blinking?
Boyd: What do you want Raylin? Left over chicken, its all been ate.

Raylin: What happen to the big bad man? Called out 24hours to get it done.
Boyd: Im afraid I dont understand your reference Raylin.

Raylin: Im asking where your balls are at. You gonna pull off the job Boyd or am I going to die of anticipation?
Boyd: That why you came? To help me find my balls?

Raylin: I came to tell you Im tired of waiting. Tired of the bull shit. I been lying to you Boyd.
Boyd: Well now we getting somewhere.

Raylin: Keeping up the manner of fiction that I got things tying me to Kentucky. Things that forestall my moving to Florida. But there is only the one thing, you.
Boyd: You wanna lean in for a kiss?

Raylin: Is that what you think this is another one of your love stories?
Boyd: Well I do like happy endings.
Raylin:Well this is one of them classic stories where the hero gets his man and rides out into the sunset.

Boyd: Or maybe its like that other classic, where I guy chases his whale to the ends of the earth, only to drown for his troubles.
Raylin: I gotta admit its a small part of me going to miss this when its over.

Boyd: Well ah, dont eulogize the past until the future gets its turn.

Art Slick looking around the hotel room for the set up.

"You shot me in the back"
Raylin: You wanted to get hit in the front you should have run toward me.

Raylin and Boyd both leaning to see in the safe.

"You shot me in the back"
Raylin: You wanted to get hit in the front you should have run toward me.

This fucking show. And Raylan saying he was going to miss Boyd, like saying he was going to miss this show was a nice parallel.

Those were the highlights easily

Arlo showing up and Ava calling Raylan out on his self righteousness and Redneck self hate was good too.

Hate that this show is ending... the dialogue is masterful

May have been the best episode of the series
every word every moment was honest and true to the legacy of the show.
feel like cousin Jay covered everything already
I'll be back if I got anything new to add.
just great work by all involved

It's been said before, but not often enough, how Raylan - especially how he chooses when and where to disregard the law at his own discretion - could have just as easily been a criminal as he is a law man.

Ava: You know what I mean. Wishing you were better than you come from. Just admit something, you could have just as easily been an outlaw as a lawman

DAMN.

Talk about summing up a person in one sentence. Hates Arlo so much that he destroyed any and every evidence that he exists with absolutely no sentiment - now that's hating your past. The ghost of Arlo was brilliant, and how sometimes he was right there and others he wasn't.

The disapproval of his father haunts Raylan but he's in denial ...

Boyd knows the trap is set, tells Raylan he's trying to temp him, and already has a plan in motion before Raylan baits him ! - Chess

Every time Katherine smiles she's lying, she slithers around men and most of them are disarmed by her. She's dangerous ...Art seems to be the only one who knows

I miss Dewey Crow. He was always good for a laugh, but after seeing this last episode I see why he had to go. Gotta get rid of all the stupid cats...Ain't no room in this town for idiots anymore.

The shit Raylan did to tempt Boyd was brilliant. What better way than for Boyd to actually SEE what's in there? He knows Boyd going after it now.

This whole thing is wonderfully crafted. Damn the writing is great on this show. A character like Katherine seems harmless...seems. It's like that movie with Roddy Piper when the demons are out and only one person can see them, and Art is that person...and older Raylan. Brilliant

The way BOTH of them leaned in? Yeah, it's crazy. It'd be hard as hell to walk away from that kind of temptation. But yeah, all of the silly stupid shit was cool to keep the show going, but this season they had to eliminate the idiots and focus on the many slithering snakes, mongooses, wolves and hunters.

Katherine Hale is a black widow

Wynn Duffy ain't shit

Ava's uncle doesn't let anything go

The kid from Colorado signed his death certificate brandishing a weapon to Raylan while threatening Loretta

Boyd should be a Harlan politician

Boyd should be a Harlan politician

you are right about Boyd meeting to be a politician. He is a smart dumbass, or a dumb smart ass... Nope, it's the first one. he can't seem to get out of his own way at every turn.

it's funny that they are so many Raylans written different ways on this show. Loretta is very much like a young Raylan, while Art is very much like an old one.

Katherine is full of surprises. I knew she had a gun in her purse. but having the cleanup crew on call was a nice touch to show she is the Black Widow.the Colorado kid leaving that Eastern Diamondback in Loretta's living room was a nice touch. with him showing off the Quick Draw it speaks of a showdown with Raylan Givens.

Katherine Hale is a black widow

Wynn Duffy ain't shit

Funny cause she think it was the old man all this while who was the snitch. That was just a soft reveal I almost missed it.

Ava's uncle doesn't let anything go

No one does in Harlen County, Blood feuds last for generations.

The kid from Colorado signed his death certificate brandishing a weapon to Raylan while threatening Loretta

It would be funny if Its like the "20 foot rule" where we never find out who is faster. He looked quicker than Raylin though.

you are right about Boyd meeting to be a politician. He is a smart dumbass, or a dumb smart ass

I disagree, Boyd is a genius, at least in the criminal sense. Which would make a good politician I guess.

Loretta My dawg, I fuck with her.

"At least everyone Boyd talked to is still alive."

I loved that barroom scene

Raylan had a real old fashion western showdown

down to ordering whiskey

when that kid didn't know who John Wayne was I died laughing.

And I disagree with the previous post, Loretta should run for office.

Matter of fact she just did and WON.

Wynn Duffy...I loved that reveal, never saw it coming but NOt surprised in the least.

A millions scenarios i never would have guessed that would happen.

I love this fucking show...

Tonight's episode took the damn cake - this story is now a 6 ring circus - damn the next few episodes might reach Blake Edwards levels for complexity, dark humor and maybe even a little farce

Dumb Ass........

Does she still have her phone and does she realized that she has been tracked by the Marshal's all this time?

Damn ava that was cold blooded. Didn't see that coming at all but she was in between a rock and hard place.

Wow I didn't see that coming

BUT I TOLD ya'll the Ava that came out the bing aint the same.

And then she kissed Raylan in the kitchen I knew she wasn't loyal to anyone.

The entire season almost EVERY damn man was talking about how they used to LOVE her

(I think even Raylan's sniper partner was wondering abut the effect she had on men)

She is the classic Elmore Leonard femme fatale...

I realized something in that car ride

Raylan wasn't the one that got away...he was the FIRST one to break her heart who left HER first.

that really messed with her...I actually thought she felt bad for Dewey but i think that She realized yet again that Boyd is a cold hearted killer and was gonna use it to her benefit when she could.

That may be my ONE & ONLY gripe with this show (besides never telling us the dropped Haitian storyline)...how detached and unsympathetic Boyd seemed in understanding how TERRIFYING prison was for her.

Aww sheeeeet...Mikey don't play that. Nobody and I mean Nobody makes supporting characters become stars like Justified. This man had a total of 10 lines since he was introduced and then BOOM!

that old lady was hard as hell great scene "I know who and what you are."

Mr & Mrs Ofay :roflmao::roflmao:

that scene in the diner when Markham called Katherine? Cold. We all KNEW what would happen but that didn't make it any less heart breaking.

Crazy Eyed Killer is gonna get it...I actually didn't like that hat scene, it was great (and further established the character) but I just didn't like it (and how come the guy in the back didn't hear anything)

i call a double bluff

his story cant end like that

i mean its that way in real life

like with omar from the wire

but this shit...nah i refuse to believe

no of course it takes more then that to take out a Crowder...

it was a clean shoulder shot.

trust Boyd coming for that money

He didn't go out. If you watched next week's preview, you see that Boyd is still on the loose.

Me neither. I watched the show with my own Raylan Givens Justified Stetson and was having that face when the show went off
Fucking Ava THESE HOES AINT LOYAL

Dumb Ass........

Does she still have her phone and does she realized that she has been tracked by the Marshal's all this time?
She is dumb as hell for this move. I'm going to say this, MOST women don't think shit through - not completely. They think they do, but they don't.

Women play checkers all day and sit like Red from Shawshank "A total fucking mystery. I hate it," when it comes to chess. They plot one, two, if they are lucky - but that shot outta left field comes and they are lost. Why? Because they love so much talking about how much better planners women are but they never think about the, as Limehouse put it, "The Unknown Unknown. Something that you don't even KNOW you don't know," because they think they know every fucking thing.

If she gets found by the phone she is a true fucking blonde. Raylan handed her back the phone after she threw it out the window on a country road. Without tracking advantages they'd fund Jimmy Hoffa before they'd find that phone. She better toss it.

Mr & Mrs Ofay :roflmao::roflmao:
YOu are right. The supporting characters in this show are like playing possum. Sometimes they only appear once, like the hard-ass old lady in this episode, or Gary Busey's kid.

The thing I love about this show is something they never do on TV...have a tell in episode 1 and don't reveal why until episode 7 or 8 or 10, or even the next season. The instant gratification nation we are can't stand that, or maybe never got the chance to see if they could take it. This is the first show I've seen it on and I've seen a lot of TV.

And Mr. & Mrs. Ofay was hilarious.

no of course it takes more then that to take out a Crowder...

trust Boyd coming for that money

Just rewatched that part again and saw that it was a shoulder shot. Boyd don't die so easily.

He didn't go out. If you watched next week's preview, you see that Boyd is still on the loose.

This is why I don't watch, "Next week on..." with a show that I am already addicted to watching every week. What is the point to hooking a fish that already has a good hook in him? I don't need no other hook.

But you would be interested to know from the previews, Rachael made Ava #1 Most wanted on the Marshals List.

Ava and her uncle look like they on the run together.

Boyd escaped from the Hospital.

Markem Put out the word that if you see Boyd crowder shoot him in the face.

Raylin goes off the reservation.

Raylin and The cowboy have what appears to be the "final draw".

I actually like the cowboy a little. The diner scene was cool to me.

Markim: You really gonna stay?
Cowboy: I do what ever you pay me to do. You say Go I go. You say stay I stay.

He even had the best quote:

"As far as conscience goes, you are either to poor enough not to have one, or rich enough to pay someone else to carry the weight"

I hope you are fucking with me

I did like the conscience line though, and the i do what you tell me one, too

the conscience line was classic Boyd

and that laugh?!?!

I have NEVER heard him laugh like that before DAMN he hated Katherine.

I don;t know abut the diner scene I just didn't like not to say that it was GREAT I just felt like I already knew he was crazy...

this writers are so damn talented I aint criticizing but I think they just wanted him to have a real cool story about how he got his hat...and to further establish that he is bat-sh*t crazy.

I like how they are going FULL CIRCLE with Boyd paying for the sins of HIS father much like Raylan had to...

it makes COMPLETE sense that everyone hates and fears the Crowders and that Ava's family would hold a grudge.

I hope you are fucking with me

Which Part?

The cowboy said the conscience line to Markim, when he felt bad about killing Loretta Auntie.

Everyone either hates or fear the Crowders. From Boman to Bow, Boyd was the only redeemable one, but he walks the line with most people.

I like the diner scene because it was uncomfortable. It could have all been avoided had he just went over there and filled his cup. But he had to say something slick under his breath to a bored/crazy person which lead to him fucking with him.

It was basically like that classic scene from Louie.

Oh I know but to me that was something Boyd WOULD have said...

i can see they are showing you how a country boy is a country boy no matter where he from.

C'mon cus...he aint say nothing THAT bad under his breathe

that little cowboy was just LOOKING for trouble. He saw homeboy was pushing up on the girl and wanted to mess with him he just an instigator and you already know instigators don;t do well in Harland County.

that diner scene was tense as as hell I kept telling the dude just GIVE HIM THE DAMN HAT, but what WAS great about it, it was one of the few times I actually put MYSELF in that situation...the LOUIE comparison is PERFECT.

like what would I have done if I was the waiter.

Like I said it was well done well written well acted (except for that dude in the back acting like he aint hear nothing) it just wasn't NECESSARY for me.

but I am picking the most insignificant nit ever.
