Official JUSTIFIED Discussion Thread UPDATE: They BACK new mini series! Justified: City Primeval

Str8 chess move from Raylon to try that kid as an adult.

Be interesting who breaks first, Darryl or his sister.

Darryl is the one that put EVERYONE in this predicament so I don't see him bending at all.

Hell it took a major whipping to keep the sister in line

great work the writers/make up...how in the early part of the season she was so well dressed well spoken and done up looking down on EVERYONE (her family, her son, the social worker, Raylan)

and now she looks JUST like the meth head trailer prostitutes.

Which is EXACTLY what Raylan told her would happen when they first met...

SIDEBAR: where in the HELL is that Russian/Latvin ? mail order bride?

TV-Justified_Brow_t670.jpg

after the diner shoot out she REALLY left town forever?

Good question, they could be saving her for next week or even next season. Or that fact Boyd killed two people in front of her, actually made her leave.

And you all are a trip. As many strong black Characters this show has had, yall complain about the one in five seasons, that gets beat up in his draws with his dick out, holding on to something that another Character is so passionate about that he considers it his "prize possession" ?

If your a fan of the show, you should be more happy Dewy actually had a win for once. Shortly lived but It was a Win.

On to Boyd, you see Ava couldn't believe He didnt ask for anything for her. I dont believe it either but She did say she was done with him, and all the mayhem he caused on the outside for her, Maybe his love is on hate or resentment for her right now.

I believe he's taking her at her word... He respects her and she asked him to let go... so he let go, besides with the problems with the mexicans, Crowe, and needing to make shit solid with Duffy - to his mind its better to keep her away... and get her what she asks for when she asks for it.

Good point.

*Boyd has several one liners this week...

*Grandma with the shotgun "here it is hot and ready"

*C'mon you have the idiot Danny kill the Haitian brotha and then Dewey the imbecile whoop a brotha ? GTFOH

*Rachael and Tim now understand why Art and Raylan fought thanks to Boyd's statement

You know I feel like that interaction with the guard had a even bigger effect on him then we realize...he has gone more and more back to the OLD Boyd...remember they implied earlier in the series like he only wanted Ava because Raylan messed u with her...I KNOW he loves her but he saw her as his redemption...but I he was SO angry when she pretty much got HERSELF arrested and then IMMEDIATELY changed her mind and then BLAMED Boyd! He does think its better if he just leaves her be...but I think there is something MORE going on here. She don't TRUST Boyd like before and Boyd KNOWS this...he was SUPPOSED to get her out of jail, he was SUPPOSED to protect in county she was SUPPOSED to be protected in max but he let her down each and every time.

And she pretty much BEGGED Raylan to help and even though he has joined the Dark Side he STILL helps her. (Again the mirror!)

I would LOVE for the series to end with Ava and Boyd with a child eating ice cream in their very own Dairy Queen.

But I really don't think that is gonna happen.

Damn you can tell it takes a part of Boyd's soul every time one of his loyals dies because of him. :smh:

Boyd fucking Crowder!!!!!

That dude really thought Boyd would be sitting in that same position?

My dude got 9lives

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :angry::angry::angry::angry:

Boyd's luck seem to have run out for next season. :smh:

And they using Ava I guarantee!

Ava: I'm scared
Raylan: don't be, everything will be alright.
oh well -80/20 Ava dies next season...

damn if Raylan won't jump at any opportunity to not visit his baby and baby momma

Heard some people didnt like this finale.

Yeah it wasn't as BANG!!! as the others but I think there is a reason for that.

Daryl was EVIL plain and simple.

No balance...HE killed more of his OWN family then the business or cops did.

He is pretty much Boyd, Maggie etc with no conscience whatsoever.

Didn't like the confession scene...

(again I am PISSED the Haitian storyline was cut)

But you KNOW they were saving that last line for MONTHS

“Well? Don’t You??”

I can say this may have been the most 'predictable?' finale from them.

nothing REALLY surprised me but damn it I was entertained...

Did you see Kendel in the interrogation room?

That was serious acting! The hand trembling with the cocoa?

Art is a SOB

And they gave my crew some shine...they NEED to use them more often.

the sniper dude is scary to me and I can't say why...

I love that the sister was NOT scared of Boyd and actually shook him...

Boyd hates this life...and I love how the entire season we were seeing him go from potential big time boss and future Dairy Queen owner back to that dirty Kentucky bank robber...

they BETTER not make Raylan fall for Ava...:hmm:

I still don't like her character cause she just a survivor and will do anything but I feel like that it was honest...

In a way she 'ran' back to Raylan like Boyd always feared...but he don't trust her (he does feel guilty/responsible) but Boyd aint stupid.

The final season will be epic but it does seem a little rushed.

So what about EVERYTHING that went on in the prison and got Ava locked up in the first place? I was FINALLY warming up to that story line.

But it seems like they stripping it down to basics because they have killed all the new characters and it seems like only the original characters from the first 2 seasons will play a prominent par tin the final season.

So Art and rayland back on good terms thanks to "an act of god" lol

i wouldn't say they all the way back.

But Art is Glad to have Raylin go Vigilante for him.

The look Raylin Gave Crow while he was dying, He was embracing the dark side for a minute.

I love how Boyd never begs, You dont know what kind Of pain I been through, Just shut up and do what you got to do.

* boom

that was a long time coming...

Raylan wants to get Boyd because that is the dark side of himself...

Arlo is the Emperor...Boyd is Darth Vader and Raylan is Luke.

When he was talking to the kid he realized he WAS that kid...

and he doesn't want his daughter to BE that kid.

He isn't sure if he is more like Arlo then he realizes and doesn't want to hurt his family.

but realizing what Art symbolizes I think hardened his resolve.

He is EMBRACING his dark side but trying to use it for good...

(and I think Art may FINALLY understand Raylan too)

But don't forget no matter WHAT Boyd says...he fell for his own bullshit a couple of times and believed he was a good guy or COULD be a good guy.

This whole season Bod would do something'good' and no one would appreciate it or recognize it...down to the last episode.

Remember how mad he got when those rich dudes called him trash?

It was all foreshadowing to this...finally paying the price...

JUSTICE.

That's Boyd's cross to bear he would do ANYTHING to start over and be considered a GOOD GUY...that file is everything he hates about himself and won't go away.

This next season...

Damn you can tell it takes a part of Boyd's soul every time one of his loyals dies because of him. :smh:
I know. And every time because he only gets real people he can trust to follow him. Dude they killed on this episode would have run thru acid rain for him. When his dad killed his whole crew of followers also killed him a bit inside.
Boyd fucking Crowder!!!!!

That dude really thought Boyd would be sitting in that same position?

LMAO!!!! I mean dude didn't even look in the room, just shot blindly at the couch only to get got from the blind side. I wonder if he knew what happened when he died

I can relate man. Its always easier to handle a child financially than emotionally.
Emotionally he is shook. He would choose running thru glass barefoot to dealing with something emotional. I know someone like that personally (ex-wife), having so much put on you so early before you can handle it emotionally turns you into a runner if you are that weaker person. You tell yourself it isn't the easy way out, but deep inside you know it is.

I have never seen a show where they pack so much into an hour. Dude gave Darryl a full. history of how he ain't to be flexed with in just a few lines. I love his character

I love that the sister was NOT scared of Boyd and actually shook him...

My GOD I love her. She is so pretty and tough and cool. And that body...That's a keeper. She walked right up to Boyd and faced down to him even though she looked up about a foot to his tall ass. Said he drew them into an ambush and didn't even apologize and she was gonna pay him back for that, even popped his vest

Boyd hates this life...and I love how the entire season we were seeing him go from potential big time boss and future Dairy Queen owner back to that dirty Kentucky bank robber...

Yeah, he wants to come up, but shit just can't get right. Every time he gains he loses and ends at zero. You see his eyes perked up when she mentioned bank robbery.

they BETTER not make Raylan fall for Ava...:hmm:

I still don't like her character cause she just a survivor and will do anything but I feel like that it was honest...

Didn't I tell you, you we're gonna wish I killed you. Coldest line on the show
aww God. To talk to a mofo as he is dying like that, as the light is flickering out is just cold. Well deserved (Raylan was paying him back for Kendall because he sees so much of himself in the boy), but damned cold.
But Art is Glad to have Raylin go Vigilante for him.
IDK. If so then Art is trying to have it both ways and I don't think that is Art. Raylan is a necessary evil because some things you can't take care of in the spirit of the law without embracing the gray...and Raylan loves the gray. He Ice skates in the gray. The gray is closer to the criminal and someone who is closer to criminal gets things done
The look Raylin Gave Crow while he was dying, He was embracing the dark side for a minute.
Yup. To have a dude's last words heard on this side of the grass be that was cold. Loved it. Don't fuck with shit he cares about, plain as that.

I love how Boyd never begs, You dont know what kind Of pain I been through, Just shut up and do what you got to do.

Ever, ever begs. It's almost like he pushes them so they will kill him quickly ala True Romance I fucking love this show.

She was so seductive( the way she touches Boyd's jacket) and menacing that she seriously had Boyd Crowder shook

I’m going to go back to Lexington, take that file Raylan has on you, and make it my sole purpose on this Earth to ensure you receive every once of punishment you have coming your way and then some. Have a nice day, Boyd.

I thought the finale was straight -- not as epic as some of the others, but it was good to go.

But the real highlight was how they set up next year's series finale. Here's Raylan all set to move to Florida and play the dutiful baby daddy and at the last minute they suck him back in to make a final run at Boyd... and they're bringing Ava into the fold to do it.

I love how the writers brought it all back to the theme of the song that ends every season, "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive". If you've ever heard the song, it's deep. It's about how no matter how far you go you can never really break away from home. When they used it at the end of the first season, I thought it was Raylan's theme, but they way it's looking now because next year it's possible no one is getting out alive (Raylan, Boyd, Ava -- their fates all seem to be tied together).

I think next season is going to be the best of the series. Might even get into Breaking Bad territory. Endless possibilities.

Never thought of that, but that is a pretty dead on comparison. Funny you mentioned True Romance, because Tarantino who wrote that script always sites Elmore Leonard as his biggest writing influence.

I didn't know that was the finale!

The scene with Wendy and Darryl was tense. When your sister starts tapping your insecurities from childhood you become vunerable...been there.

A whole season and no GOTDAMN! Limehouse??

"3 seconds and you're all dead" Marshall Tim sniper doesn't play

Raylan is scared to death of that baby he'd rather face guns than similac

Wynn Duffy got a new mobile home

Wynn Duffy got a new mobile home

I think Raylan biggest problem is he knows he has Arlo in him - it has served him well as a Marshall but he knows how destructive it is as a father - Arlo's Ghost is still fucking with him

Did you guys notice how Ava and Boyd greeted each other when she got home. Now if that is my woman who came home after year in jail, we are fucking in every room in the house! And to use a famous BGOL phrase, NO PULLOUT! Boyd had a perplexed look on his face when the lawyer called to let him know that Ava got released. This being the same lawyer who previously said that there was nothing he could do. He said the guard recanted his story, even though this very same guard wouldn't recant when he was tied to a chair and about to get his nuts sliced off. HMMMMMM!

Fellas, next season is going to be a doozy because Boyd knows what's up. He is country but not country stupid like Dewey Crow. I can't wait.

I think we all figured that Boyd knows what is up, that her release aint right.

I think their greeting was so cold because, She broke up with him and he is still hurt by it.

"Yeah its been a rough month"

^^^^

that was one of the best scenes between them ever...

don''t forget she killed her first husband in that house, lived with Raylan in that house and one of the best scenes of Boyd V. Raylan took place there too.

It was great because they both knew it was over and now they both playing the games they SWORE they would never play with each other...

this is the last fateful dance.

So now they are gonna have to play pretend convince manipulate until the dance is done.

And most likely only one will be left standing.

Their hearts are broken and now the pieces are blowing in the wind...I would really like for them both to survive this...

sidebar: Ava will NEVER be my favorite character and cant ever really support her. They wrote it that it was sudden attack of conscience that got er caught in the first place. Then when she sobered up she runs to Boyd to get her out and when he cant she blames him. Can'i t support her.

I wonder if I write a heart filed letter to the producers, about how "this is my favorite show, and I would love to work on the last season so much so I would do It for free. Please Please let me P.A. It would mean the world to me to Just have an IMDB credit from this show"

Would they let me?

couldnt hurt to try

:eek::eek::eek:

I'd co-sign it...for what its worth.

I really wonder if we submitted a script or just filmed one short scene on youtube where we created new characters referred to an existing storyline the actual current characters like a LOST SCENE...

like 3 brothers at a bar talking about how Roscoe & Jay got hemmed up by Raylan and Boyd.

damn Bills would be all over that.

question, what's the point of buying the DVDs if I already have the series, the complete series downloaded?

I like the way you trying to get into the business, I wish I knew a way myself. I would love to write for a TV series or anything really just how you the truth. I just love the art
