The last issue of the corps was kinda all over the place too and this may be a longshot but the Crimson Avenger may be able to kill em if he/she/it ever appears. And gardner killed one of these mofos? Still, this series is one of the best I ever read and when is Superboy Prime bitch ass going to show? Kal-L should go after him and not Kal-el. Good looks yall, keep it coming!

The multiple writers outside of the main Lantern books have this story lacking a lot of consistency. As for Gardner, I'm sure the BL Bzzzd will re form.

It's called "Shitty" writing and a company that really does not give a fuck about consistency.
Marvel is doing the same shit with "Dark Reign" and "Utopia" - They make some bad ass "villian" then when they come to the execution of the actually fight - They go...well we can't have our money makers lose...so...."insert dumb shit here" occurs.

So far the best cross over event that took place in a multiple series of books to this date is Age of Apocalypse and Unity.
All the rest get too big and run out of focus.

You have stronger, more seasoned heroes getting killed one on one with these BL's but junior bird man and Bruce's unwanted child hold off a dozen BL's with flame throwers.........really?

Everyone else is getting reset/revived back in the DC Universe.
Personally, that last issued told me all I needed to know about how the rest of the book is going to pan out. Too bad, with Firestorm I thought they were going to go with the route he left off on. Firestorm did not need the professor anymore towards the end of his career and he was still Firestorm...they just totally ignored all of that and stuck the 1988 Raymond in there to make the story slide out.
I was thinking the same thing after reading the last issue.If they let some of the bigger named characters stay dead for at least a few months i'll be satisfied.
Can a Purple Lantern Kill a Black Lantern?
My only complaint is the the dialogue between Flash and Green Lantern is a bit longwinded.
