Cmon, you knew they weren't gonna let the memories of those heroes be desecrated. I like the idea of the rings using the memories and powers of the bodies to elicit emotional responses.
Yeah I knew that from jump. That seems to be the problem at least for me to enjoy this or any book.
Since I already know they are going to make up some excuse to say this and that did not really happen because X is not this or that...I can't get as excited for it.
Offbeat books are my thing but sometimes I give these books a shot to see if they will commit. It's rare that they ever do.

I went into my comic shop today to buy an issue of blackest night to start out reading. (i wasn't interested at first but after reading this thread i decided to give it a try) well i'll be getting the other issues too. 
I had also ran across issue zero. The shop keep had told me that he had just got them in and that they're a little hard to find now. i bought it for a dollar. which is pretty cool because It was originally free lol. hopefully the value will continue to increase.

well I haven't been downlaoding any thing because my main computer is down right now so i decide to buy a physical copy.I trust the shop keep he's a good dude. and i actually checked it out online and there are some copies going for 2 dollars already.

Comic books in terms of selling them as investments have not be selling. Once the TPB comes out the books that are going hot burn out and return to cover price.
Unless the book does not come out in TPB format and is not 2nd printed.
What I do to make them pay for themselves is collect the books - donate them to a children hospital (after slicing a hole in the cover to prevent staff steals) or org - use the claim letter made by the org for deductions.
I then pick up the TPBs of the books that MUST READ for my children when old enough for my personal collect for DIRT cheap prices during the con and in store sales.

Powers and abilities
Firestorm has the ability to rearrange the atomic and subatomic structure of matter, rearranging subatomic particles to create objects of different atomic characteristics of equal mass. He can not only change the atomic composition of an object (e.g., transmuting lead into gold of equal mass) but he can also change its shape. He cannot, however, affect organic matter. If he does there may be painful, even lethal, feedback. This organic limitation does not extend to his person as he can change himself at will, allowing him to regenerate tissue, to shape shift, and to survive indefinitely without food, water and air. Much like a Green Lantern's limitations, Firestorm can only create items the "driver" of the Firestorm matrix is able to understand the workings of. Unlike a Green Lantern's creations, Firestorm's alterations are permanent unless he reverses them.
They made a serious mistake bringing Firestorm into this. When Ronnie died - He died at full power as Firestorm - WITHOUT the professor...So this WHOLE storyline is compromised with his appearance.
Don't worry though the DC Defense Brigade is about to deploy and defend the writer. They may ask you to ignore all of the parts with Firestorm in them...

Supeman-Prime is working at Walmart in Kansas. When he gets full power he is going back to punching thoughts.
The writing sucks because they painted themselves in a corner storyline-wise. So instead of doing some creativity they are caving in to the demand of the exec to wrap it up.

The problem with stories like this is that something is bound to get overlooked or left out...... Like, with what happened in Final Crisis - particularly when Judeo-Christian concepts got dragged into it - and with the dead rising...........where the hell is Zauriel and that whole gang of A's and Arch A's at Pax Dei?
They got destroyed by pink crystals...
They took a serious L after "Underground Unleashed" which many DC fans say never happened.
Writer still trying to figure out how to fix the mess in mid-motion. Give them 2 weeks.
