Both Nexus phones are available for pre-order from the Google Store today, September 29, and they’ll ship in October. The LG Nexus 5X is priced at $379 for the 16GB model and $429 for the 32GB version. Meanwhile, the higher-end Huawei Nexus 6P costs $499 for the base 32GB model, $549 for the 64GB version, and $649 for the capacious 128GB version.
Each Nexus phone will come with a free 90-day Google Play Music subscription and a $50 Google Play credit. Additionally, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P owners can sign up for Google's new Nexus Protect insurance program. With Nexus Protect, you can get two years of coverage for mechanical breakdown and accidental damage. Nexus Protect costs $69 for the 5X and $89 for the 6P, and it's launching in the US today, with more countries coming soon.
