Vick is the primary reason this team is where it's at. D-Jack needs some credit too.
I don't think they're gonna win the Superbowl, because there's no way one man can carry a team that far. The Eagles better pray the Giants don't get into the playoffs, because that is the only D besides Chicago that could give Vick problems.
Philly's Defense is suspect as well. You gotta be clicking on all cylinders to win that trophy. As much as I hate to say it, Vick ain't getting that Lombardi this season.

I remember I used to kinda hate on dude when he was a rival, I ain't really have respect for him as a QB but admired the speed he had and how dangerous of a weapon he was.
This dude is now a complete, mature QB with speed never seen before at that position. He could be greater than Steve young if he keeps it up.
I know that he'll be a free agent and could probably go to another team who offers him more money, and I wouldn't be mad at him... he's bankrupt and needs to maximize his earnings for the future, but I really hope that Banner, and Lurie and Company give him enough reasons to stay, we can build something really special here.
I told heads after the 2009 draft that we'll make the playoffs in 2009 and possibly win the superbowl in 2010, thought it would be with McNabb tho.

If that O-line & the Defense was solid, then it would a safe bet to pick Philly. But they're not.
That shit always comes down to the line you have protecting your QB and the Defense your have holding the score. Philly's defense is suspect and that O-line can't take pressure(Vick is making that line look better than it actually is!).

I hear you man...Our D been suspect all year, I think they'll get better in the next few weeks tho...Nate Allen and Graham going down hurts but Asante's back, Patterson been playing better than hobbs at Right corner. The D Line looks like its starting to get some pressure... and Bradley went down but I think it could be a blessing in disguise because the rookie we scooped up this year...Jamar Chaney looks really good at MIKE, he held it down out there today..I was hoping he would get a shot all year...when Bradley comes back he could probably come back and play his natural sam position. and have the best LB's out there on the field at once...
nobody in the NFC really scares me all that much besides the saints...
here's my wish list for santa... the #2 seed..getting a bye in the first round...beat green bay, face ATL in the Georgia dome (Vick tears down the house he built) face the Patriots in the superbowl and bust their ass in a rematch..

I definitely feel you concerning the Defense, but the Pats D sucks too. I disagree about Vick being a one man team, at different times, D Jax has carried them, McCoy has been big... they have a lot of weapons on O Fam!

Anybody see the post game interview with coach Couglin? As I predicted he put the blame squarely on the punter talking about he takes full responsibility for the young punters mistake....
