@ your whining. This has been a really great season, so your nitpicking is

worthy.
Breaking Bad >> The Shield (I'm a fan, but it's not on the level of this show, and about as realistic since you're knocking Breaking Bad on it's realism)
The Wire is still the best show, but Breaking Bad is right behind that (Yes, it's better than Sopranos also).
We'll see when we look bad if it is all that good. You're in the moment right now, so you are loving it. I watched
The Sopranos, it fell off for the same reason
Breaking Bad is falling off for me. It is becoming all about Walt even if the story that drives it makes no sense.
People will analyze later on where a story went and how realistic it really was, then decide how it rates. The ending of
The Shield made that show legendary from beginning to end. The show ended exactly as it should have, with the Strike Team destroyed, Vic neutered, and Vic as a sell out.
If
Breaking Bad ends as it should, Walt and his entirely family should be brutally killed. If it ends that way, this show will be legendary. If it doesn't, it will be just another show with some great seasons. Like
The Sopranos.
Like I said at the moment the show was jumped the shark of believability for me. It can get me back by showing the cost of Walt's actions. It's been a slow escalation. He kills a couple of small timers trying to push up on him. Then he kills a slightly bigger guy with Tuco. Then he has killed a major cartel kingpin in Gus. A guy with enough money and power to take a Mexican drug lord, hire doctors to take care of him in Mexico, and to pay his chemist's 15 million a year. Which mean he was selling as a distributor probably ten times or more than that amount, which means he has suppliers that must be making even more selling.
So what you think is going to happen to a guy that does that? To his family. To anyone he knows. To fuck up a drug operation that size?
I'm going to give the show a chance because I've followed it this long and it has been good. But things have to end appropriately. That's what make a show legendary. A weak ending will ruin this show.
I'm going to believe in the writers and give them a shot and hope they don't keep it too goofy with Walt outsmarting every guy that comes after him. Drug lords don't care about intelligence. You fuck with them, they destroy you.
I don't even know why Walt is still alive or why it took so long for Gustavo to find someone to synthesize Walt's formula. Reverse engineering is fairly easy for even a halfway decent chemist.
And at the end of the day, you have your opinion and I have mine. You feel like you've been satisfied from beginning to end, then you pay your money or spend your time on a show. You don't feel that way, you don't.
Right now I don't feel that way about
Breaking Bad like I do
The Shield or
The Wire. They were good from beginning to end, though I think
The Shield had the best ending of any of major series to date. It all came home to roost at the end of that series.
