I don't know what I'll do. I'll worry about that when I get $1 million.

One way to supposedly avoid taxes is to take a loan against your capital gains. Problem is the price of crypto swings so bad that terms are kind of fucked right now. Rich people supposedly take loans against their capital gains all the time. I guess they can turnover the assets and avoid taxes. Wouldn't know how true that is. I'm not a millionaire, but I've been looking into how they practice tax avoidance(not tax evasion).

@LegalMoney money might know about these loan things.

But he's a lawyer. Probably charges that for a couple hours work.

I was more so talking in general. However, I know of a few people who earn a good wage, but don't really see it because of their expenses/debt. I also know (think so anyway lol) people who have little to no debt and a good salary but cry about paying for a beer or two at the bar.

I’m down on IOTA and VERTCOIN.

XRP, STEEM, SIACOIN, LITECOIN, and CARDANO I’m still up.

Bought some TRX on the dip. Not a bad day
It's going back up. I'm still down about $10K, but that's only half my loss so far. Bought to do some crypto shopping once I get off work.

I'm super new to this but isn't it not possible to use cash to buy alts? I can only buy alts with btc/eth/ltc right?

since everything is low, your cash will go longer than using already low crypto. so go in with more cash, get btc(also low) and get more alts.

My strategy will be to get shares of the majority of the coins that you all mentioned throughout the year.

I need less than thirty shares to have 100 XRP then it will be on to the next one while the market is down.

A year from now I'm going to look back at this and say I did it or I didn't.

True, but sometimes it's best to scan your holdings and see if pulling from one alt to a lowercap might work. Timing is everything though. Ideally, one alt might rise much faster so you can peel profits and go in on another bag you're holding.

Was going to do it with Civic this morning, and that shit crashed from the 50s to the 30s fast as fuck. Trying to time sales between alts isn't easy.

Just copped some SONM (supercomputer powered by Ethereum blockchain)
Here's another one I've been watching for a couple weeks. I also noticed it on @6supaman9's list
They're launching their alpha this Monday. This might jump

So what's the best alternative to coinbase? That is currently working today? (I apologize in advance for a question I'm sure has been asked several times)

Bitstamp and Gemini. You'll probably have to go through verification though. But it's always good to make sure you're set up in case you need it in the future.

I was planning to buy both when they were in the .10 range but I never did. After they started moving, my pride wouldn't allow me to buy at the ATHs. I hate buying when I saw something at the bottom. That's the reason why I'll never by Neo or Power ledger.
I know that feeling well bruh... But let that pride go, especially when talking about a project with a future. I was hesitating pulling the trigger on VeChain and watched it go up from .2x to .4x hesitated.. watched it go up to .7x then a buck.. up to $1.50. It's at $1.24 now and it's still "cheap". Consider the future of the project, not the past price.

I don't disagree, but finding projects that people don't care about or undervalue is more fun and challenging.

My long term goal is to be able to pick solid crypto investments/projects.making potential money is cool, but that isn't good enough for me.

even from a money stand point, I could for instance put in 20k plus in one project instead of taking on more risk by putting 5k into 4 or more projects and hoping it all works out in the future.

Great post, just something to keep a eye out on....

Yes yes please hit 2.50 or 3 :)

I gotta get my shit of the site before they lock my shit and take it. Imma move to waves DEX as it seems as the easiest one to navigate. Honestly the reason why I hadn't gotten rid of it cause I kinda forget it plus I didnt want to mess with moving it at the time

Moving WGR to Waves is Optional.

Check the Wagerr website :
https://news.wagerr.com/wavesguide/

What if I don’t want to use the Waves wallet?

  • Withdrawal from wagerr.com is optional. You may choose to leave your balance on your wagerr.com dashboard until the Wagerr mainnet launches in late Q4, at which time there will be a mandatory withdraw window.
    • If you do not choose to withdraw your Wagerr coins to Waves now, keep paying attention. Once the WGR mainnet goes live, you will have a limited window to withdraw from wagerr.com.
  • Wagerr Waves tokens can be sent to any exchanges that decides to list it in the future.
  • When the full Wagerr blockchain main network launches (estimated late Q4, 2017), intermediary Wagerr tokens on Waves can be redeemed at a 1:1 ratio.
