Set up on Kraken, Bittrex and coinbase. Coinbase so you can buy bitcoins with your credit card or linked bank account. Kraken and Bittrex so you can used those bitcoins to buy coins like XRP (Ripple) or other altcoins.
There are other websites to buy coins but I've used coinbase and bitcoin ATMs.
Tutorial on the front page is still good to go....

PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT GOING ON WITH BITCOIN....there is BIP148 fork.... it could mess bitcoin up. BIP148 is a user based software change but may invalidate some bitcoins. it long but explains thoroughly what could happen.

Everybody that was on the BGOL Saturday shift and got in on XVG early, I'm sure ya'll smiling this morning like me. 
I have no idea what this coin does YET but one thing I know for sure is when the BGOL wales get in on a cheap coin, I'm right behind them.
We discussed this a little while back, I think most people plan to move their coins to an offline wallet.

No Problem...sorry for the double post. i been off the board for a minute. just started a new job.....and working at night with no access to BGOL. I wanted to make sure the brethren saw this. but im glad my people are starting to work together....one of the posters said its life changing.

Woke up, rolled over, and checked the phone. I said in a post a couple pages back that XVG hitting .01 before the weekend is plausible (IMO, of course)

About 10 minutes ago I got about 600, 000 for about 2500 bitcoins on Bitrex. It's still early. The goal seems to be to get in before it hits a penny or higher.
I'm not certain on how the coin exchanges work, but at this point it's only on Bittrex. I'm banking that some other exchanges will pick it up and that's where the potential lies.
Nvm i went back a page. Gonna roll some xrp over to get stleast 200k

Maybe I am missing something, but I am not sure how to proceed after signing up. I was hoping that there is an option to link one's credit card in order to buy bitcoins and I can't seem to see it.
Again, I could be missing it.
Man scared money don't make it.....I'm going to take out about half my ripple and aim to get a mili XVG.

Not sure that's a good idea, XVG still hasn't released it's white paper yet or info on the team. XRP is still a long hold coin, but you'll need to decide what your trading style is going to be.
