Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

Yea bitstamp take a bit under 24hours.. just got my confirmation email and submitted it yesterday afternoon.

I got on this thread about 2 weeks ago, since then I have opened my account with Gatehub, I invested $1,400 and got Xrp, Btc, Eth and Etc. However about 90% of which is in ripple (xrp), my wallet value is up $140 in a week and a half. That's 10% in like 5 days. You can't beat that. However minus two wire transaction fees from my bank of $40 flat fee each thats $80, in addition to the two transfer fees from gatehub of $15 flat fee so that's $30.

Total Fees $30 + $80 = $110 so I am up $30. $30 is great for 5 days

Also I have a coinbase account so when I deposit low amounts of cash into the account I can avoid the $40 fee. Coinbase charges 1.49% for the purchase of bitcoin, then you just have to move it to your other wallet of choice. I use the mobile wallet version on andriod for coinbase. However the bitcoin takes 5-7 days to hit the account I don't know if this is a first time transaction thing or what.

Also, if you haven't already subscribed to your BGOL brother at

He knows what he is talking about and if you can't catch him on this thread find him on youtube.

Blockchain circumvents that issue

Please explain....
After googling gambling forums it seems my options are:
1.) Deposit into a cold wallet then deposit that to the exchange.
2.) Deposit into a 3rd party wallet.

After reading about it its a good thing I didn't deposit into Coinbase because they have shut accounts down over gambling. Sucks because its around 3k and Bitcoin was under 1600 and Ripple was .20 last night. :(

Coinbase is US based correct? What if you use a foreign service not tied to US gambling regulations?

You got lucky. I have been waiting 3 days. Nothing.

Took me like 3 days on GateHub, then another few days for the wire transfer to hit the account. However if you are going to Gatehub I suggest you use this for your initial deposit(wish I had known about this way before would have saved me $40 wire fee):

https://bithomp.com/activation/

so after you register your account on gatehub use that link above to make your first deposit, IT CAN ONLY BE USED ON THE INITIAL DEPOSIT

Elaborate
The plan to make it more decentralized than bitcoin and making its block chain better.

That's all bitcoin is really decentralized secure block chain

So if this is going to be that times 2....

But my main contention is the swift speculation

If it takes over for swift it's a wrap

I'll be posting from a castle paid with a few hundred ripple

Breh... Are you saying that XRP Ripple may or will likely SURPASS the CURRENT price of where Bitcoin is right NOW ($1810 at the time of this post)? If so what is the LIKELIHOOD that XRP Ripple will surpass that in USD Dollar value? Realistically?

No I said speculate
If they execute the plans
Then why not...
Years and years down the line tho

Quick question, does gatehub charge a withdrawal fee like the exchanges if and when you want to withdrawal your coins to an exchange in order to convert them to USD?

On XRP chat forums they saying the price pumps on weekends, anyone else noticing this? Maybe for this coin best to not stock up until Monday/mid-week?

That seems to be the case, at least for the last few weeks.

Bitcoin is usually up during the week, causing all the other coins to go in the red.

Then Bitcoin chills on the weekend, and the other coins go green, peaking about Sunday afternoon/evening.

Then Bitcoin goes back up early in the week.

I don't know if that's always going to be the case, but if it happens again this week, I might consider strategizing buys around that idea.

I'm high but that sounds interesting.

I dont know if ripple wants their currency that high though; i get the feeling that they wanna keep it low teens; i think banks using it wouldnt want it that high
Prestige comes in various forms; im sure them replacing swift and PayPal and other payment system would be very prestigious!!!

They would if they have a ton of them already lol.
They missed the boat with bitcoin. WE are in the know but ripple is not a household name and by the time it is it'll be too expensive for people to just get into which is the point.

Man .. about 5 years ago I read most of the early threads on Bitcoin Talk with people that got in really early...I think it had crashed to about $15 but even at that point, most of those cats were multi-millionaires..it was crazy to read see the discussion.. most of these people had got in when btc was still cents....

Listen yall we already won. 4k% ROI is unheard of period.
And this shit hasn't even gotten started yet so I say will it get to 1600 per ripple? Likely maybe not Could it? Shit... why not?
If everything that's been posted comes to fruition with the adoption of banks, replacing swift, blockchain better than bitcoin then why not? And like I said by the time it's time to get into ripple it'll be too late. I'm betting after the banks purchase the amounts they need then it'll just turn into the gold rush as far as how the prices go up higher and higher
my thinking is this if a little bit of ripple gets destroyed every time they complete the transaction and they handle the heavy amounts of transactions that they do, why would they want to extinguish their own supply quicker? The way to make the shit stretch it to drive up the price so that the transaction take less ripple and you can do more.,

RIGHT. that's what this thread is going to be. Like I said, I threw 3 figures into an account on the bullshit tip and forgot about it checked it last night..like oh shit I DO HAVE RIPPLE HERE. how many do I have? I checked the account worth and it was worth 5 figures...

on a bullshit tip. Just wait man It's only may. turning 3 into 5 in 4 months what's it going to look like in 9 months? When it explodes the 1st time... cash me outside how bout dat?

Man. Can't be fucking around with @largebillsonlyplease Last time I met up with this muthafucka in oakland he came rolling up in broad daylight with a brew in his hand like a whino... true story.

Open Mickey dapped @Spectrum up we were at the lake talking shit and these 2 women came and sat their blanket down right in our view....entire grass area was empty...they sat down right in front of us and started doing yoga and shit.

"To think that not so long ago I was paid 50 BTC for two hours of work."

come on
lmfao
89, 350 dollars for 2 hours of work
lmfao

Some of the stories in there are wild... i haven't read it in years though I remember a cat who forgot he had a wallet with 25,000 BTC in it. Lots of hardcore techies purchased coins just to experiment with them when it first launched and forgot about them until they started really growing in value..
