An example of this is ZCASH. When Zcash came out Late OCT 2016 there was no pre-mine, this caused the opening price on POLO to be 1 Zcash = 5000 BTC and the price dropped hard since opening with its current price at 39.00 USD for 1 coin. It's funny tho cause somebody made a trade for Zcash in the early going on POLO for the price of 22BTC = 1 Zcash so if you were mining Zcash when came out day one, that was the only way you could have made money early on Zcash, if you bought early like some did then, it was at a loss as more Zcash got on the market. To profit from a new coin you have to know if there was a Pre-mine and if has a blockchain or take a gamble. See scam coins like OneCoin!

NXC is one that i have seen go green 20% more than once this week. That one goes red and then shoots up. Just make sure to set your stop limits if you are just flipping it
