I almost did that. After this Verge loss, i'm trying to make more conservative and logical holds rather than trading off emotion and jumping on the next big hype. At this point in the game, ETC is the most logical hold. Its one of the few coins that I can almost guarantee will go up. I like Bitcoin, but the profit margin is too low for me right now

Bro I been in this for like 36 days now, I have learned a lot. I happened to get in on the last bit of the XRP run made some money by chance lol. Then started to learn with the house money. I would have never sold my ETH I got at $89. But I know what ETH is now never will it leave my hands again.

That's the point. Never sell when low. I know the developers didnt do shit for 9 months. But for the past few weeks, the developers have been following through on their promises and they've been active. It may all be just marketing hype by then, but who knows. I'm still holding for a while too.

Yeah, I took the advise from that Ryan Lye dude. I looked at his other weekly pick vids and she seems to go for the shit coins, but the long term gain type and gave reasons why so I took the plunge after I sold my DGB.

The info you found on Reddit said it was a solid coin with a 24+ month investment. Similar to what that dude was saying. I'm not sure if I'm going to wait that long though. After the next big pump I'm probably out.

Also somebody said something very interesting. TIME IN the market will always beat TIMING in the market. Everybody that is getting rich bought ETH when it was like 7 bucks and held it. Nothing wrong with quick fliping but I gotta get a portfolio of things that I just hold the majority of and sell here and there to throw in my bank account or other coins

I'm so glad i took my profits from Dgb and invested most of it in Eth a few days ago. Got in just before this crazy run and I'm never touching it again. I was on coinmarketcap and noticed a few things. If you look at most of the platforms all the top Altcoins are running off of you will notice one thing. THEY ALL ARE BASED OFF ETHERIUM!!! Bat, humaniq, gnosis, nexium.... Etc... All using ETH platform. I wish I would have noticed this before and just used it as a guide to venture into new coins. This may be my new method in investing for new coins right now because all those coins have made major runs and if you got in early you made money. Lead me to the promise land etherium:money:... Please!

Almost 500, but I got in late as fuck, early last week. It was a coin that kept talking to me. :eek: "Buy me....hold me!!!" Had I copped it the first time it spoke, I'd have got in around 60 cents.

I agree. I am just going to hold some coins with house money. See what blows up. I'm going to need shit like Ubiq, Humaniq, antshares, Aeon to take the fuck off for me to be like :money: Naturally, I have the usual long-term holds in Eth, Btc, and Xrp.

That's common sense I mean how exactly is Verge a "shit coin". But what somebody said about them not being active for 6 months is a better answer. I went to the website and checked their social media feed on coinmarketcap before I bought in. It actually wasnt a bad buy but I'm out when it pumps again.

Not really because teams can be active and still have a shit coin. there's more than 1 barometer. that's more of a description of a coin that's trying to execute a pump and dump rather than why it's a shit coin overall.
 
If we can cash out on verge with a lot of profit, imagine how much the folks involved from the jump now have to play with.
