Cats are sleeping on Shane and giving Margarito a little too much credit.

Margarito is a beast, no doubt, but hes very beatable. His only plan is to come forward and take punches to give punches, hes never been a good fundamental boxer and good fundamental boxers have always given him problems.

This with the fact that Shane has fought bigger guys, has fought at 154, has a great chin, and is a power puncher himself,when he wants to be.

Shane is a shot fighter.

For Margarito to lose a fight like this, it would be because he lost something in the Cotto fight. A volume puncher is the worst kind of opponent for an older fighter.

I don't think Shane will be able to handle the pressure that Margarito is going to put on him.

Going with Suga Shane. If Shane can stick boxing and not get baited into a brawl. I got him winning by unanimous decision. its a stretch but I'm not impressed with margarito

If Cotto had even Mosley's chin, he probably would have won a decision against Margarito. So it's not hard to see Shane Mosley winning this in a decision as well. I've been picking wrong lately, so Margarito will likely lose going by my track record.

I feel you, but you have to remember that Shanes never been knocked out, I don't see it happening toningt. Hes fought tougher, or just as tough figters as Margarito but those fighters had better boxing skills than Margarito.

Also, as someone stated, if Cotto had a better stamina and ability to take punches like Shane does he would have easily beat Margarito.

The main thing that has me hyped over Shane is the fact that he has Naseem Richardson in his corner who is a student of the game and great with coming up with a defensive game plan.

One more thing, to those who reference the Cotto fight as a blueprint for this fight, you have to remember styles make fights. Cotto was used to walking his opponents down and being the aggressor in his fights, a style he had to abandon against Margarito and he was uncomfortable fighting on his heels.

Shane isnt that type of fighter and he used to fighter bigger fighters.

I see Shane mixing it up, fighting on the inside (like Clotter did successfully vs. Margarito) and then getting on his "bike" and moving around, making Margarito chase him while giving him awkward angles to have to throw punches from.

Margarito by UD. I can see a corner stoppage late in the fight too if the old man is taking too much punishment. Shane's chin is very good, so the corner might have to save him from himself

Shane's never been KOd so it's hard for me to see him getting dropped in this fight, even with the amount of punches that Antonio throws per round. Mosley may not be able to out work him, but he will make his punches count regardless if Margs can take it or not.

I see a decision win by Mosley but it will be real close.
