Doesn't matter which QB is under center
We're still going to the playoffs fam
The house isn't burning down yet, no need to panic
Im Wit Easy I Dont See Us Making NFCCG....In Fact We Might Mess Around and Take a Step Back and Just Miss the Playoffs

My observations after watching a few highlights..NFC North looks better this year..Especially the Bears and Lions.

Panthers - ehhh not so great, but i want to see what happens in the Giants game before i make a determination. Bryce Young looks good, but i wouldn't play him anymore this preseason. Put Corral out there

Jags are going to make some noise in the AFC..they have been trending up the last few years and with a weapon like Ridley, all bets are off and they have nothing to lose really

Saints look better than I thought they would and I didn't think ATL looked terrible.

Still watching highlights, but other than the Panthers, i can't think of a team that looked just outright bad

@jack walsh13 looks like your steelers may have some offensive firepower this season. Pickens is going to take another step

My observations about the 49ers:

49ers are very "top heavy"
We have really good starters
(Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuck, McCaffrey, Trent Will, Fred Warner, Greenlaw, Bosa, etc, etc)
But the problem is we have little to no quality depth
Plus our starters are getting up in age & getting expensive

We don't have the money to sign younger free agents
And we don't have the draft picks either
Because of the Trey Lance trade up + the McCaffrey trade

As long as the 9ers starters stay healthy
And as long as Brock returns to form like last year
We should be good to make another playoff run
But if these guys start getting banged up
Or start getting tired down the stretch
We might be in trouble :(
Like I said before

49ers have about 2 more good years left
Before these expensive contracts catch up to us & we have to retool

I think yall should be fine in the NFC west. it will be between yall and Seattle.

Lions David Montgomery and his girlfriend Causey are in some hot-water. The two share a pitbull named Lola which was not trained well enough to mingle with other dogs. Montgomery says that the pitbull escaped his yard. The pitbull ended up attacking another dog and breaking it’s leg in two twice.

Causey was charged with harboring a viciois animal which she has pleaded not guilty.

Really disappointed in the young brothers Becky :smh:

ESPN loses top NFL reporter after turning down pay rise for new role

Dianna Russini has reportedly decided to leave ESPN despite being offered a pay rise.

The 40-year-old has been one of the main NFL reporters on the sports broadcaster for the last eight years. According to the New York Post, despite ESPN’s best efforts, Russini rejected an increase in salary and will now join The Athletic as its top NFL insider.

Her role is expected to include writing NFL stories, appearing on its video platforms, and working on the publication’s podcasts. Prior to her ESPN career, Russini worked as the main sports anchor for WRC-TV in Washington, D.C. Lindsey Thiry, who previously worked for the LA Times, is expected to become a full-time NFL TV reporter for ESPN, while Kimberley Martin and Jeff Darlington could see their air time increased.

In recent months ESPN has been reducing its costs and has parted ways with several members of staff. The likes of Jeff Van Gundy, Keyshawn Johnson, and former NBA player Jalen Rose were all let go by the sports corporation. With the aim of letting go of those who were making seven figures per year, ESPN would be able to save more of their employees working behind-the-scenes.

In a memo published in June addressing the cutbacks, ESPN wrote: “This exercise will include a small group of job cuts in the short-term and an ongoing focus on managing costs when we negotiate individual contract renewals in the months ahead. “It’s important for you to know that these are difficult decisions, involving individuals who have had tremendous impact on our company.
Russini struck me as more of a gossip style reporter.

She was one that would always be referencing anonymous sources.
