Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants signed left tackle Andrew Thomas to a record-setting contract extension Wednesday just hours before their first practice of training camp.

The Giants did not announce terms of the deal, but Thomas' agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the 2020 first-round draft pick agreed to a five-year, $117.5 million extension that includes $67 million guaranteed at signing, a record for an offensive lineman.

Thomas, 24, is now under contract with the Giants through the 2029 season. The $67 million fully guaranteed at signing is the most ever for a non-quarterback first-round extension after three years.

It's difficult to make it to the Super Bowl, and Sean Payton does in fact have a Super Bowl ring with the New Orleans Saints.

However, Ryan Clark mentioned that Sean Payton should probably be concentrating on the Denver Broncos. For many years sports journalist and commentators have praised Sean Payton as being a great coach.

Nevertheless, the reality is that the New Orleans Saints have only appeared and won only 1 Super Bowl under Sean Payton in 15 years (2006 - 2021).

:please:

Who's your team? Or what teams do you root for?

On the real?

After Kap? I don't root like that anymore.

I'm like an observer now

Used to be Giants and Buffalo.

So I will always like to see a NY team win

But I am a carpetbagger now.

it's more players coaches systems.

I want to Mahomes have a dynasty

I want to see Lamar get a ring

Followed Jalen since Alabama

Like Andy Reed etc

So again I'm just an observer now.

Sean forced fed us drew Brees and taysom Hill for years. We could've had Brady, couldn't signed Randy moss as well. Too many players went unsigned trying be loyal and cheap

He remembered Le'Veon Bell's stupid ass that's why he's back. He did the right thing. Don't leave 10 million dollars on the table.

You think he finishes his career a Giant?

I think he pushing down something that may end up being an even bigger issue...

Ok let's say Giants make the playoffs and Barkley has a near MVP season...

What's stopping the Giants from hitting him with the franchise tag AGAIN?

Cause by all accounts?

Giants made him no promises or guarantees that about franchise tagging him again.

Then what he should do is take the money. One thing Le'Veon's dumbass told the world was never leave any money on the table.
